Fabulous room, love the decor, perfect for our anniversary. Great art work and interior design. We were not aware dogs can stay and didn’t enjoys 2 sausage dogs yapping late at night and being woken at 7am by them barking continually on and off. We will learn from this and would always check the dog situation in a hotel before booking. I mentioned to reception but they didn’t seem very apologetic.

The beds were comfortable Not focused. No one really in charge. Good staff but with no skin in the game.

Extremely helpful and friendly person on reception desk , helped find a parking space and gave lots of info on my destination. Seemed to genuinely interested in people staying at the hotel. Bar quite expensive

The staff and the breakfast were outstanding in every way - thank you! My only reservation was that the room was rather too small and I couldn’t find a safe.

Very expensive for what is on offer, I.e. tiny room. Loud disco on Saturday until 0015.

Great hotel in a quiet area and walking distance to the centre. We got a parking ticket on the first night as the signage was confusing for on road parking outside which dampened the first night. We asked for our room cleaned and they didn’t change the towels so we had to call in the evening for them to change it but it was dealt with promptly. Overall good service and would stay there again. I’d advise not driving though as it’s a real faff with parking.

Overall the stay was good other than the daily clean wasn't great. The fake plants were full of dust, they never emptied the trash cans in the room, and there wasn't a thorough job of cleaning the bathroom. Plus, the small wood ledge behind the toilet was not fully connected.

The room is spacious with testy decor. Our bed is so comfortable with fluffy pillows and we had a good night sleep.

Beautiful room, super comfy bed and great coffee. What more can you ask for? Nothing

It was all lovely. The building and the room were particularly interesting and comfortable The light in the room didn't work, but the staff were on it immediately and sorted it out. They were all very helpful

The suite was fantastic- the style and design of everything was great. The lady on reception was great but all of the other staff seemed disinterested the food was expensive which is fine but it was also quite poor and breakfast took a very long time despite being the only people in.

Didn't like seeing individually plastic wrapped sugar cubes . The room on the 1st floor at the top of the stairs is bad for an early night sleep. Should be cheaper for the noise.

The property itself was very pretty. My room was small but decorated beautifully, and the bathroom lovely. Everything was clean and up to date. What made this place were the staff. As a traveller with a child they couldn’t do more for me. Especially on my arrival, the two young women on hand made a stressful evening on the trains so much easier There were exhaust vents outside my room that felt so so loud. However I don’t live in the city, so to a city dweller they probably wouldn’t be an issue. My room was also very out of the way so it probably isn’t an issue for the others

The decor is very nice and the extras are as you'd expect for a boutique hotel (sleepers, dressing gown, Nespresso machine, good quality toiletries). The shower was also very nice. The budget double room is nice but very small. Okay for a couple of nights. Lack of obvious recycling policy.
