Went with a deluxe room which was very spacious with a nice roll top bath. Building has character. Poached eggs were cooked well, but lacked flavour. Maybe think about changing supplier. Rest of breakfast was good and friendly efficient service.

Well located. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The staff is welcoming and helpful. We booked with breakfast, which was excellent. Well-prepared and a good range of choices. Nothing I disliked.

Luxurious comfort, much needed on a hectic first time trip to UK.

Breakfast was tremendously delicious Nothing

The room was very comfortable. The staff lovely. The location is great. The breakfast was memorably delicious.

The staff were just exceptional. We arrived very late and they did everything to make sure we were taken care of including a delicious meal.

Checking in, paying just a bit more for a wonderful room. The kindness of the staff, the knowledge of the bartender and the delicious dinner. Nothing that we can think of!

Location was ideal for us. The hotel has all the trappings of a modern French-accented boutique hotel with a nice layer of quirky charm imbued by the conversion of the old Sugar House. Signature suite (Perrier Jouet) was a creative design and well appointed. Breakfast service was exceptional. Parking was the main issue. It should be included or at least guaranteed for each stay. I had to move the car to an NCP on the 3rd day.

Great, central location, lovely building and warm inviting interior. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, plenty of space and a little terrace too. Due to central location, quite noisy and traffic very loud.

Staff, rooms, bar and restaurant all perfect. Location great though parking is a nightmare. Booked a room and told no parking spaces available. Though local parking is not too bad bud it’s a hassle I don’t appreciate from a hotel.

Very convenient location for central Bristol. Fabulous room. Lovely bathroom, with deep bath and enormous shower. Also lovely bath robes. So was a Nespresso machine, a kettle and a wide selection of teas and coffees and some biscuits and chocolate. I opted for the breakfast to be included and there was a great selection of pastries, juices and granola, et cetera. I also had a very good cooked breakfast. Small things: the main light switch at the door switched off everything including bedside lamps. There was lighting for the cupboard with the lovely bath robes, but no lighting for whether kettle and teas were kept. Otherwise everything was fabulous.

The originality of the building A bit dark

Very quirky, cool property The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The shower was fantastic! Good Central location close to buses. Nice bar and restaurant. We would recommend this property! Our carpet was stained and the room was a little dark

Staff, dinner, breakfast, room in general, bed and pillows View from room was poor, but in fairness there was scaffolding and building work going on at the time

Loved the style of the room, the space and the quietness despite being in the city centre. Not being able to take more time to enjoy the stay (as was working).
