The owner was a fantastic host and the hotel is a little jewel! It is about a 20 minute walk to the town square so just the right distance from the hustle and bustle but still close to the sights. Family owned and run for many years so personal service. Fantastic breakfast options with the host making a small change amidst the staples each morning we were there. The owner put fans in the room when the temperature in the city soared. There is a great dinner restaurant where the locals eat next door. Nothing

Paul was an incredible host. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The room was very clean, the beds were pretty comfy. One morning we left before the hours for continental breakfast and Paul went out of his way to make us a little breakfast to go, which is the sweetest thing that any hotel has ever done for me. Also, the Christmas decorations were top notch. Pillows could be softer!

Paul, the owner and the manager, makes you feel at home, and he also serves a great breakfast. The hotel is small but comfortable. The room was clean, the linens were of high quality. Keep in mind that if you are a light sleeper, it might not be the best place. Most of the time, the guests are considerate, but if someone above your room is a bit clumsy, then you might be awakened during the night. The location: 10-15 min on foot to the ‘downtown’ - the market square. However, it could be a distance for some, especially if you stay more than a couple of days. Still, it allows you to learn the city and the many ways you can get from the hotel to Belfort tower. Of course, you could choose to stay in the heart of Bruges, but the price would increase exponentially. Another great thing about the location is that it has an excellent connection by public transit. Bus #2 stops near the hotel and it can take you to the downtown (3 min max) or the train station (15 min), and it runs every 10 minutes. The ride is 3 euros and you can pay on the bus using a contactless pay system. A taxi to the train station would cost you about 16 euros, or, if you are not very lucky with the driver, 20 euros. So, the bus is a great way to get around Bruges. None. When people complain, they want to have their cake and eat it too, or they don't read the description. So, none, in my opinion. Just a wish - my personal preference - to have the window for breakfast from 7 a.m. :-)

The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The daily breakfast was also very good. The owner, Paul, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was nice and quiet, although it was quite a walk from the center. Quite a long walk from the center.

Charming small hotel near everything in Bruges! Beautifully appointed with a cozy parlor and cheery breakfast area. Comfortable bed in a decent sized room with updated spacious bathroom. A delicious, freshly prepared, generous breakfast was provided as well as a self serve coffee spot for after breakfast hours, and a bottle filling station, too! The hosts are very attentive and helpful. There is no air conditioning or fan but open windows kept us comfortable.

Convenient location. The owner Paul was very friendly and helpful with information. Our room didn’t have air conditioning…the fan worked out fine.

Great breakfast. The steps were very short, but fortunately there was a lift which was great.

Breakfast was ample, delicious and outstanding!

I greatly appreciate how caring the staff was. There were moments where I was lost or confused or even unaware about things out of my control that were handled by the staff. They also gave me a goodbye breakfast since my train out of Bruges was so early! I didn’t use the tv since it they are outdated. But the view was so beautiful that I didn’t even need the tv, it was more like a comfort thing.

This was a lovely and unassuming hotel that was perfectly described and its owner was very welcoming. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. Hot water was a hard to come by on two occassions and was never actualy hot.

The beds were so very comfortable...best bed ever...the breakfast was perfect and so was the owner.
