B&B Maison le Dragon

Incredible location- perfectly placed to explore the town. So central that you can easily pop back for a rest during the day. Emmanuel is a perfect host- friendly attentive and helpful- take his recommendations- especially for the fish restaurant! There is tea and coffee available all day which is worth popping back for and reduces the costs of constantly eating/ drinking out. The breakfast is incredible and another major perk- huge, filling, varied- and we don’t eat agin until 6.30pm! Fruit platter, Pastries, yoghurt & granola, eggs & bacon, rolls & cheese. And finally - the property itself is spectacular. The genuine rococo sitting room is incredible and the suites are stunning- spacious, comfortable and stylish. We could not recommend more highly. A truly top class experience. The hotel is exquisitely furnished with large rooms filled with gorgeous pieces. Emmanuel is a wonderful host - very welcoming and fully of local knowledge and history. The setting is perfect - right in the centre but not noisy. AND the breakfasts are to absolutely die for. I couldn't rate this hotel more highly. A really wonderful experience. Thoroughly recommended.

Our stay at B&B Maison le Dragon was truly one of the highlights of our visit to Bruges. From the moment we arrived, Emanuel made us feel incredibly welcome. He is a gracious and generous host whose extensive knowledge of Bruges, its history, and its hidden gems greatly enriched our stay. His recommendations helped us experience the city like locals. Each morning, Emanuel’s wife, Maka, prepared an exceptional breakfast that was nothing short of unforgettable. Every detail was thoughtfully presented, from fresh seasonal fruit, creamy yoghurt, and freshly squeezed orange juice to an assortment of delicious homemade breads. Eggs were cooked exactly to our liking, and the meal was finished with an indulgent selection of exquisite Belgian chocolates—a truly decadent way to start each day. The house itself is simply breathtaking. Dating back to the sixteenth century, it has been lovingly restored while retaining its historic character. The interiors are beautifully and meticulously styled with an elegant blend of antiques and contemporary pieces, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and welcoming. Our stay was absolutely magical. Maison le Dragon offers far more than outstanding accommodation—it provides an unforgettable experience filled with warmth, charm, history, and genuine hospitality. We cannot thank Emanuel and Maka enough for making our time in Bruges so special and would recommend Maison le Dragon without hesitation to anyone seeking an exceptional place to stay.

Breakfast was delicious. Assortment of fresh fruits, and they were fresh. Pastries perfect. Eggs cooked to order and chocolates for a side. Coffee selection, fresh ground beans and always available. And the Elevator was a blessing. Location was ideal. The innkeeper was knowledgeable of the area for recommendations. I have nothing negative.

Location was perfect as was our huge bedroom with a sitting room and a large terrace. The breakfasts were excellent and included a beautiful selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt and granola, eggs cooked how you want them, a selection of cheeses and chocolates. Coffee and bottles of water on tap and even a welcoming Belgian beer on arrival. The owner, Emmanuel, could not have done any more to make our stay perfect. Nothing

Amazing location, service impeccable and the breakfast is all you can wish for - and more. Owners are the sweetest and run the extra mile for you. The B&B itself is calm and like stepping into a different world. Lovely rooms and a beautiful terrace to the suite we had. Comfy beds and all facilities you could ask for. We have returned 3 times already and will continue to do so when in Bruges! Nothing to dislike!

It was so charming. The suites/rooms were comfortable and very well appointed. The rooms were lovely, the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Chocolate candies at breakfast was a new experience. I may keep that one going at home. Emmanuel and Marta were so welcoming and treated us as if we were family visiting the home. Love love love Maison le Dragon. Nothing. It was perfect.

It was our second stay here and we came back because we wanted to relive the experience. Super clean and comfy. Beautiful decor also. The host was very welcoming. It’s a great choice for those who want to get the full experience of Bruges.

We loved staying here. The room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Absolutely fantastic hosts who catered for vegan and vegetarian diets and couldn’t do enough for you. Staying here was one of the best parts of our trip. It was perfect.
