Beautiful and very friendly staff, there was a pigeon trapped on our patio the young man at the front desk rescued it for us gave it food and water named it and released it! This is says it all Maybe pricey breakfast

I've been in the travel industry for over 30 plus years and have stayed at many different properties. I found this one EXCEPTIONAL. The greeting we received when we arrived to immediate "how can I help you with any questions"! The location was perfect and tucked away from the main street in an alley with an amazing view of the canal in the breakfast room. Highly recommended as a perfect place to enjoy the town.

Beautifully appointed hotel in scenic Bruges. Original Matisse, Botero and Klimt in lobby areas. Very friendly staff and clean antique filled rooms with modern bathroom facilities Breakfast buffet very elegant although honestly a little meager for the price.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and amazing. The building is very old, yet it has been wonderfully maintained, preserving its historical charm without compromising on quality. The rooms are spotless and full of character, making the stay feel both comfortable and unique. The staff are exceptional friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Breakfast is fairly classic and not particularly elaborate, but you can clearly feel the care and attention put into it. VERY charming building that incorporated historic elements. Location was _supremely_ convenient to the rest of the city. All was going well, when some back office kitchen manager decided to make a case out of the fact that I was ordering a latte and not a coffee. That a LATTE wouldn't be included with the hospitality, but a COFFEE would be. WTF. Who cares? Why even mention it? I'm paying plenty of money for a room in the center of the city, and you really want to make an issue out of the three minutes extra that it takes your staff to make a latte?? And the poor waitress who had to deliver the news ... my heart goes out to her (and I made sure she knew I didn't blame her for this ridiculous distinction). Anyway ... she asked if I wanted the lattes taken away, and I said ... yes, of course. I then gathered my belongings and left, letting her know the entire exchange was unnecessarily awkward. Note to servers out there: just add it to the bill and _say nothing_.
