Fantastic position with easy access to all of the best sites in Bruges. Very comfortable and well appointed Because of the position it is daunting to drive to the hotel through streets that people regard as pedestrian precincts (but aren’t). The garage could not accommodate our car with its top box on

The location and room The outdoor patio was in back of a waiting area for people taking the canal cruise blocking the view of the canal from the patio

This is an excellent, cosy, comfortable, quiet old hotel in the centre of Bruges. A real hidden gem with a delightful library / lounge and outdoor terrace by the canal for unwinding after a busy day exploring the City. The car parking is not on site, but it is nonetheless only a stone’s throw away and very easy to find once you’ve dropped your luggage off at the hotel.

One of the very best things about the hotel is the staff. Bram, Corrine, and Chris all did many things to stand out. Bram, the manager is welcoming and positive. Corrine helped us modify our train travel improving it greatly. Chris said goodbye to us with coffee and a snack for the train. The hotel itself is an absolute delight. The rooms are large and so comfortable. The furniture has many antiques. The location is incredible. An afternoon glass of wine on the terrace next to the canal was wonderful. Breakfast was incredible. We loved it all
