Great location and nice historic building, the room was comfortable and spaceous. Breakfast was ok, but somewhat underwhelming, an afterthought in a closed restaurant with furniture pushed aside etc. But the views from the breakfast space were well worth it.

This is a beautiful hotel with views over the canal on one side or the hustle and bustle of the city on the other - we have stayed in rooms in both sides. The staff are always incredibly welcoming and friendly, the rooms are always spotless and while the building is old, the bathrooms are very modern. Breakfast is fantastic, and cake for money is exceptional. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bruges. Nothing at all

Location is great, near the center of the city and walking distance to everything! Comfortable beds and room. Staff were amazing and accommodating. Able to leave our bags before check in. Also called and scheduled us a taxi for our early morning departure. Bathroom did not really have a shower, tub only with a sprayer.

The room was up 2 steep flights of stairs but a lovely view.Location was ideal for going around Brugge Breakfast was very limited

Location was the best in Brugge, no doubt about it No lift, probably my fault for not asking.

The location is absolutely amazing. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and looked over the canal. The breakfast was tasty and lots of it. Nothing.

We had to leave the hotel at 2:00 in the morning after finding bed bugs crawling on us the third night of our stay. They had not cleaned our room the first night, and the second night they used the same linens. There was some markings on the bedding which we later learned was feces from the bed bugs. They were good enough to not charge us for our stay, but it should never have happened. Our friends left as well. They only paid for the time they stayed, but no discount was offered.

Old, historical (1640’s), great location. No air conditioning or lift. Very uncomfortable in the heatwave- 32,33,34 degrees.

Beautiful historic building with great character on the canal. It was difficult to cope with the heat without air conditioning.

Fantastic location in a beautiful old hotel The rooms feel like they need an upgrade. Stuck in 1980.

Location, restaurant views, ambience. The room was far to hot even with a fan provided also very small and dark due to only having a tiny window. You had to walk onto a step to peep out of the high up window. Not the canal view I was expecting.

Incredibly well situated in the centre of town next to the canal. Our room had a million dollar view and total wow factor. Breakfast was delicious and again the view at breakfast was exceptional. We shall definitely be back.
