    It was fine.

We did not get the King room reserved or a rate change. Construction was directly above our room so we lost sleep and relaxation (above the 85db requiring hearing protection). Our room was actually damaged by the construction. Room was only serviced when requested. Shower drained slowly and was not fixed. 2 lights in the room did not work and we're not fixed.

My review will be unique. As there was construction going on. But the hotel was not very clean. As you start looking closer you just see hair, spots, dirt and grime on about everything. The allowed hours for construction was insane 7AM-9PM and those poor guys worked every minute of it, but it made the hotel impossible to relax until right before bed. If I were going back I would not stay here again.

Location was good. Would like to have known the hotel was under construction. It was very loud. Didn’t eat breakfast because it wasn’t included, so went out to eat.

While in my room, I was unable to relax because the construction noise was so loud. I had to go sit in the lobby for a while, going back and forth to the room to see if the noise had subsided. By 8pm, the noise was so loud that my head hurt. I spoke with the manager and expressed my concerns. At no point during the booking process was it clear that there would be construction. He told me that he would process a refund, but I have not received one as of today. I have tried to follow-up twice to no avail. In no world should I have had to pay for a hotel room that I was unable to be in comfortably until 9pm, that was surrounded by construction equipment and dust. With all this said, Michelle at the front desk was an absolute delight.

The property is undergoing physical renovations so lots of moving parts like TV remote not working, body wash not stocked, AC not going above a certain temperature despite reset. Staff was very nice.

We arrived the hotel and there is no room ready for us. The first room was under maintenance and the second room is not cleaned. We requested a cancellation for the room. The front desk said the refund is processed but I never received the refund! Avoid this place.

Now the bad: my room was on the 4th floor. I got off the elevator and, without warning, found my room in the middle of renovation central. The work started at 7:00 am and continued until 9 pm. Sawing, drilling, demo, you name it. Loose pieces of sheetrock lined the entire hall; sheetrock dust and construction debris littered the floor, along with construction materials and tools. Water was on the hall floor next to electrical extension cords, with no warning signs. I would have appreciated a "heads up" or a room on a floor that wasn't going through renovations.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was very professional.and the front desk reception were amazing and helpful. The only complaint was that housekeeping leaves early. I will book again it was a pleasure.

We really enjoyed the location as we were able to go to Buffalo and Orchard Park with just a quick drive. The room was very clean and the staff were very kind. The parking lot was very spacious and easy to get around.

Staff was friendly, accommodating, helpful and generous. Room was clean, quiet and well laid out. Food options in cafe were very good and lots of good seating options. Hotel was off the commercial areas and set away from hubbub despite being just off highway and easily accessible. There was construction going on in the hotel and loud-ish workers to walk past but surprisingly once I closed my door, it was very quiet at the end of the hall. The construction unfortunately resulted in limited rooms so by the time I arrived late the first night of my reservation, my room was not available and I was sent to a sister hotel for the first night. I am flexible, so it was ok. Also I had booked through booking.com and not the hotel so it is unclear if this would have happened had I booked directly through the hotel. The hotel was accommodating and very generous, refunded my first night rate, and negotiated a very low rate at the other hotel. I returned the 2nd night and discussed my experience. Because of the inconvenience, they offered me a dinner voucher and issued me a complimentary breakfast for the next day. They also offer water and treat at check-in. Just nice touches. The room was great yet streetlamps from a parking lot beyond the adjacent vacant lot came directly into the room forcing me to use the blackout curtains. This is more a room location issue. Right now, the adjacent lot shows a for sale sign; I suspect there will likely be construction in the future of another hotel. The hotel itself though was great and the staff gave me great recommendations and were super friendly and a pleasure to talk with. Despite the construction, I valued the staff and room and do plan to stay again.

Great location close to airport, downtown Buffalo as well as North towns and Niagara Falls! It’s also close to shops and restaurants on Sheridan but tucked away from traffic. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. Common areas are very nicely updated. I booked a room with a transfer shower because it’s difficult to step over a tub for me. We didn’t get that room when we arrived and our reservation was for 8 nights! Luckily it was resolved the next day. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with the exception of the mattresses which should be thrown out, both rooms were quite bad. No support, very uncomfortable! If 2 people get in on opposite sides the mattress puffs up in the center like a balloon and makes you feel like you are being pushed out all night! I don’t know if they were in the process of replacing them, there seemed to be a great deal of hotel trash near the dumpster area in the front parking lot…very unsightly. Lastly if a person had to use that shower in a wheel chair I don’t believe it’s set up correctly as there is no transfer bench so they would have to shower in the chair, it’s not deep enough for that. Also the drain doesn’t function as it should so the water pools well into the room. I worried about slipping on a wet floor if I had to use the toilet late at night. This hotel has a clean every other day and refresh the room on opposite days which doesn’t work if you want to leave later mornings, they skip and leave no towels or coffee supplies
