Simply loved our stay at Porso. It is owned and run by a family who has lived there for generations. We found out during our stay that the site is actually quite historic given the fact that who lived there decades ago (you will find out through the hosts themselves, great story tellers). First time we were greeted with quality tea and snacks upon our reception. Great breakfast, and the best location you could find if you want to visit the old town which in fact is part of it. Nothing.

The service was impeccable from check-in to check-out. The room was spacious, and the bathtub was large. The location is also convenient, only a few minutes walk to tourist attractions and restaurants. The hotel breakfast serves hot pancakes, a coffee machine, and a wide selection of fruits, making for a great start to the day. nothing

The hotel is situated in a beautiful old building with a great location just outside the old city. But what really made this place special for me was the staff especially Pulat. They are incredibly helpful with anyway request and even helped me send an item to my hotel in Khiva I couldn’t bring into Turkmenistan. Really terrific experience and I can’t recommend it enough

The room is very spacious with nice decoration. Comfortable bed and good bath room. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they are happy enough make make you tea anytime. Breakfast are good. And also they gave us free taxi to the station. Their service is excellent and unique. We love staying with them.

Tastefully decorated small hotel with kind and helpful staff. The place is conveniently located close to the centre. Rooms are rather thin-walled and it can be noisy if other guests are loud.

Had everything you could need. Gorgeous property - really tastefully decorated. Super central. Close to the heart of Bukhara attractions. Staff was super helpful, particularly Pulat, who had all the best recommendations! Nothing that I can think of.

Staff were very helpful, Pulat answered all our questions and showed us things to do and places to eat in Bukhara, he spoke English well and was genuinely helpful. We will recommend porso hotel to our friends. Staff, location, breakfast, decor, proximity to historical monuments.

The spacious room and the very kind and helpful staff made my stay comfortable throughout. The location was prime with all the attractions at a walking distance. Would recommend especially for solo women travellers.

Cleanliness, free breakfast, friendly staff, perfect location, spacious rooms. We had a lovely and comfortable stay. Bathrooms are clean but having a bidet would really be a plus. Also, their photos on Booking.com does not do justice to what the place looks like in person. It’s a lot more beautiful in reality.

I stayed one night at Hotel Porso. The breakfast was really tasty, and they even have a nice coffee machine. The location is perfect — right in the center of the old town, close to everything. The guy at the reception, Pulat, was super kind and helpful — he really made my stay easier, thank you! The rooms are beautiful, with great decorations. The whole hotel looks like the house of an Uzbek millionaire — stylish and full of character

Only downside was that there was another guest speaking very loudly on her phone in the courtyard until 1am and I had to go down and ask to be quiet. (I tried calling front desk but the phone in the room didn’t work). Because all the rooms face the courtyard, you can hear everything in the courtyard and it echos. It would be good if the hotel had a “quiet time” after 10pm or so.
