Bukhara Baraka Hotel

Location, location. The hotel is just steps from the pedestrian zone and entrance to historic Bukhara, Proximate to multiple restaurants. Room was quiet, beds comfortable, reasonably spacious, clean. The "Hotel" is a misnomer. It is really a guest house, operated entirely by the extended family that lives on premises. The family uses and their children play in the central courtyard. Older children take their shifts at the "reception". Alas, little English or European language capability. The family is welcoming but communication is limited to "hello" / "goodbye". Breakfast is mediocre: warm dishes are typically cold, offerings are limited and often not replenished. Overall, the guest house is decent. But we would not stay again.

It's not possible to control the heater from inside the room.

Excellent location - we came to see biennale and it was very close to all historical sights where biennale exhibitions were held. Small family hotel. We missed coffee for breakfast,but there’s 2 coffee shops 2min walk from the hotel

Excellent staff and friendly service. The transport service they had booked for me coming in fell through and they made sure to get me a free ride on the way out. The facility is modest but functions well. Location is excellent. Breakfast was adequate. They handled some laundry for me also.

A charming, lovely hotel, gatekeeper of Old Bukhara. Excellent location since taxis can actually drop you off right outside as opposed to those hotels in the heart of old town which are not accessible by car. Staff is courteous and kind, breakfast is abundant and very decent. Big plus is a/c in the room! Would definitely go back! Bathroom maybe a bit small, and the pillows are quite high but other than that, it's all great!

The hotel is conveniently located few minutes away from the city center. Taxi or bussa easily reach the place Possibly a quadre selection of food for breakfast besides the uzbeck specialties would help.

Strategically located at the entrance of the old town this hotel offers very good comfort and an excellent location to explore Bukhara. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, however it was rather small size. The size of the room could have been a little better and the breakfast room was also small for the number of guests.
