Good location and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Close to center and train stay.

Frank, the owner I believe, was extremely nice, informative, gracious and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. No AC, but a fan was available.

Well located, clean, safe and quiet. The Manager, Frank, was very helpful and friendly. Decent food and coffee area. Bed was decent size but the mattress was in need of replacement as it sloped to one side. No safe or fridge. Limited night life.

The hotel is centrally located and it was impressively clean. I gave it top marks in part because of the incredible young desk clerk who worked the evening of August 7, 2025. (I'm sorry that I didn't ask his name.) He could teach a master class on hospitality and customer service. He was patient with my limited French and gave me information in English as needed. He recommended a good restaurant within walking distance. And he had a friendly and kind demeanor that every traveler would appreciate. The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. It's not "fancy," but it's really quite nice. The bed was good and I slept well. And I really appreciated the fan in the room; the room would have felt too warm for my comfort level without it. This is not the hotel's fault. I wish I could have enjoyed the breakfast the next morning, but breakfast isn't served until 7:00 a.m. I had to leave around then to walk to the train station for the next part of my journey.

The property is very well kept and in a great location Nothing! We were on the first floor and without asking the staff carried my luggage upstairs.

The bed is pretty far and of course the rooms are small, but you’re in Europe and all the rooms are smiling in Europe

Budget hotel - comfortable and very central location, friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic continental breakfast delivered to our room. Very good value. There is no lift. Parking is not guaranteed being so central but we did manage to find a space nearby.

Friendly and helpful proprietor provided recommendations for dinner and breakfast. Quiet yet central location. Good place to stay and easy to find. Very clean rooms. Secure bike storage in a locked shed at back of hotel. Pleasant background music in foyer. Small bedroom and bathroom.

The location was great, easy to find parking, great shops and bakeries close by. The bed and shower were very comfortable.

We did not eT breakfast there, but the hotel was quiet, clean and charming. Staff was very polite and helpful. We would have added breakfast but did not know it was an option until much later

Lovely hotel : the welcome from staff second to none : clean and tidy Handy little supermarket opp Great location for getting about be it bus 2mins away or train station 10 mins away for Bayeaux 20 mins by train Get to the d/day beaches on the no 12 express bud 30 mins express or Caen memorial museum on the no 2 / 20mins away A must visit never spent 5hrs in a museum before in my life ..excellent Preload yr bus tickets ..1/60 a trip Lots of restaurants and shops 5 mins away …plus a very very very lively selection of bars round the corner I’m not being paid for this …though I should be ?? A little noisy perhaps and busy during the night/early hours fri/Sat if your room is facing the road with a night time food server /so loud voices expected ….its opp so windows closed /still a good nights sleep ?? Would be nice to have maybe one or two English channels on the TV …sky news etc for those not fluent in French ? Will be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A small fridge in the room would have made things almost perfect, particularly with the weather being hot

Clean, polite, no frills. Pleasant staff. Good central location. Breakfast was very good value for money. The booking was as we requested and excellent value. Information on parking. The email came too late so we could not plan. We had a small camper so height restriction an issue for some car parks.
