Staff had to be hailed thru video cam. Small room. maid couldnt be stopped from cleaning.

Very good location, at center of the city. Proper and quite (with a room on the inner side of building). First had a room with smell. But get soon changed to a good one.

The guy on reception was great ( sorry I can't remember his name), very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and he was cheerful ( also spoke English, bonus!). Location couldn't be better, bang central. Very basic and in dire need of updating. However for the money, it was clean and comfortable. I wouldn't recommend having the breakfast, very limited choice ( bread or croissant), lots of other options on the doorstep.

Good location, hot water works perfect, nice staff, near the chateau and St. Pierre cathedral, stops for tram 3 to train station and bus No 2 for Caen Memorial near the hotel. We could borrow a hair dryer from the reception. I recomend you to stay at this hotel. Just to mention something, the towels were a little thin.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. For the price, a good deal, although it's a basic hotel. There isn't anything that would put me off staying here again.
