Super friendly owners, clean, safe, quiet, breakfast choices. No ac in the second room and the AC from the first room was not getting there. One of the beds in room 5 was super squeaky.

Great breakfast. Easy to walk into Cahuita. Great location for National park. Lots of wildlife and Howler monkeys every morning.

The place is magnificent. The garden and pool are great. The room is big and well equipped. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and make your stay enjoyable by recommending activities and places to visit nearby.

The wifi was non-existent in my room. I had to go to the pool to get a connection. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Hotel was not close to Cahuita and I didn't have a car. That was my fault for not paying attention to the location.

I liked the property landscaping with all the tropical plants around. I felt free there, Most hotels in Costa Rica have too many don't do this or that signs and cameras galore. The pool was nice and the location seemed really good to see wildlife. The breakfast was super and included in the nightly price right by the pool. The only thing that is irritating is the municipal road to and around the hotel. Many roads in Costa Rica are gravel when you leave the main ones. Gravel and dirt are no problem but the minefield of potholes confirm that no one cares at the municipal level. If Cahuita wants to become more popular with tourist, maintain the roads, it is a reflection of the community.

The family who runs this hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, and we enjoyed the dinners prepared by the owners in the evening. It is very hot on the Caribbean coast, so it would have been great if the rooms had air conditioning.
