Way to far out of the way

He made me my own homemade pizza, crafted drinks for us, and we took shots together — such a fun and welcoming experience! We had great conversations that lasted for hours — no exaggeration. The hospitality was unmatched. There was no strict timetable, just a relaxed, warm, and genuinely welcoming atmosphere. He even helped me extend my stay for another two nights, which I truly appreciated. Hands down, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I would absolutely stay again!

Location would have been great if amenities were as advertised. Let's get some things straight. The restaurant was highly rated..... there is no restaurant any more. The closest restaurant was great, but was often closed. There was no bar or even a stocked fridge. you either bring drinks yourself, or do without. That would be fine, but the place was advertised as having a restaurant and bar. It has neither. Whoever photographed the rooms and pool is a genius. The rooms are old and the pool is a miniature. Some of the cabinets are broken with doors falling off. Our toilet seat wasn't even fastened to the toilet. The owner seems like a nice guy who is at the end of his rope. When he is there he is running around aimlessly trying to get things to work, but he's not often there (in our limited experience).

I think the property was a little outdated and there was no breakfast or restaurant on site

Silvio, the host was friendly and accommodating. He provided the information necessary for us to have a good stay and recommendations for activities and food near by. The road leading up to the property is not bad but not great. Recent rains made it muddy. Not the hosts fault anyways.

Location was a few minute drive from the main town, which we liked as it was quiet and direct access to the beach which most of the time we had to ourselves. Room was big and comfortable. Had a pool to use which was also nice and clean. Owner was lovely and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and visit. Also knowledgeable about the local wildlife

Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant was also excellent but not open all the time. Pool was a nice area to chill. Beach only steps away. Would suggest that you have transportation as it is a bit of walk to town. Car or bicycles.

Very comfortable and clean, the pool was very unique and clean. Easy walk into town.

Alberto and his family were wonderful hosts and incredible helpful in any way. We hiked and walked the beach and the National Park and night tour. Was very exciting. The food at the Casa Caribbean Coconut was all fresh prepared and cooked to perfection. We saw so many monkeys, iguanas, and all kind of birds right in the courtyard of the Casa Caribbean. Couldn’t recommend this wonderful place more. N/a

Excellent location, close to Cahuita , but far enough from The noise. Nice breakfast. We also dined there one evening and the food was delicious.

We loved this hidden gem, it’s a stunning spot right near a quiet beach, you can hear the wildlife around you and it is so peaceful and tranquil. Alberto is so friendly and happy to offer any assistance or guidance, his breakfast is also a must have, absolutely delicious!! The pool is lovely, bed extremely comfy, rooms are slightly dated but it didn’t affect our comfort and we would still return in a heartbeat. If there on a Friday would highly recommend the reggae bar down the road that has live music, dancing and an overall brilliant atmosphere-food here also looked great

Personally cooked and juiced by our host who took great care in ensuring that it was all as we ordered and delicious. It was wholesome enough to last us until the evening, so we could have a full day having fun without a need for lunch. nothing

Alberto was an excellent host and we enjoyed our three days at the hotel. He created a short video for me that told me how to check in when he could not be there that was very sweet and he had great recommendations for local restaurants and tour providers in the area. We think it is important to support small businesses when traveling in Costa Rica. There was a small kitchen available to use with a microwave if you wanted to prepare a meal and there was a refrigerator in the room. There is also a restaurant on site for breakfast and we had fruit and Shashuska that was great. We also ate dinner there 2 nights and that was very welcome for us because it was raining and we didn’t want to go out. The pool was very clean and refreshing. we could hear lots of birds and howler monkeys that was a lot of fun. The beach is just across the street and completely deserted and a great place for walking in the surf. We particularly liked the location because we were close to the town of Cahuita and we walked there or it was a short drive. Our only issues with the room were that it was rather dark and that it was very loud when it rained

The place was absolutely lovely, and the host was so kind and caring! Breakfast every morning was delicious, and Alberto assisted us with great recommendations and things to do/see.

What an amazing location, right across the street from the beach. ,Super friendly staff that made us feel very welcomed! Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast served with great coffe and bread. Great place to stay when visiting Cahuita. We will definetly return in the future.
