Marins Suites - Adults Only Hotel

We had a wonderful 1-week stay at this hotel! The location is right on the promenade. This is convenient and surprisingly, it was super quiet at night. The noisy bars were a little bit further so we heard nothing. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom had all the amenities that you can expect. The cleaning ladies were super nice and cleaned nicely whenever we asked. Loved the breakfast choice! Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again! While there are signs everywhere that you shouldn’t “reserve” a sun bed by the pool with a towel, people kept doing it every morning. If you want to have a Balinese bed, make sure you reserve well in time (weeks before your stay). They were all booked when we arrived and even when several were empty some days, we weren’t allowed to take one. You have to spend 25€ min at the bar to be allowed on those btw. Staff was nice enough but it showed they were in a hurry all the time and seemed a bit confused/annoyed when we asked for drinks or anything else. The reception is only at the hotel across the street. Finding it was a hassle and there are no signs anywhere so we had to ask multiple people for directions.

Lovely view overlooking the sea. Centrally located. Lovely staff Although there were often free sun beds, people who put out towels in the morning and still didn’t arrive until mid afternoon.

Good breakfast Good service Too noisy with weird music around the pool. We asked to lower or stop the sounds for better relaxation but the person said he had to put music bc it is the policy of the hotel!

This is our second visit to this lovely hotel. Lovely gardens, pool and area spotless. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to all shops, bars and restaurants. Easy stroll into Cala Bona.Would definitely recommend this hotel. Nothing.

Lovely adult only hotel. Good sized rooms & nice pools. Welcoming staff. Good breakfast spread & bar menu. Area has been built specifically for tourism; outside the hotel it did seem very tacky. Beds are a bit hard, and we had issues with our air conditioning which made sleep difficult.

Great location, clean rooms, nice pool area

Beautiful seafront location, well positioned for Cala Millor and Cala Bona. Breakfast is okay, with pleasant staff, but the hotel is really an annex of Marins Playa and you can enjoy a wider selection of breakfast in the restaurant there. Dinner is not available at Marins Suites. Reception facilities only available at Marins Playa, as are other facilities apart from the pool. You have to check in and out at Marins Playa. Description on hotel’s website does not make it clear what is available at each location. Rooms at ground floor level are noisy and have no privacy only a curtain on windows, so you have either darkness or no privacy from the people sat at the bar or pool area. Wifi did not work in my room. Despite receptionist coming to room and agreeing it did not work, we went through a ridiculous charade of reception saying every day that it would be fixed that day. It never was, they just ignore you. Reception covers both hotels and is very busy with long queues at times. Some reception staff are rude. Booking dot com tried their upmost to liaise with the hotel regarding problems, but hotel was reported as being uncooperative. I wanted to leave the hotel and to book somewhere else, but as the hotel would not speak with booking dot com, it could not be arranged. As a solution, the hotel offered me a move to Marins Playa, where they told me they had over 250 children staying! I had booked what I expected to be a peaceful adults only hotel, so that was not an option. Room was not checked before check in. Various maintenance issues. Although they were dealt with, in a 4 star hotel, you expect the room to be satisfactory on arrival. I asked to discuss the issues with the hotel manager, but was told it was not possible as they don’t speak English. They did not apologise for any of this.

Everthing. I love this hotel, it is comfortable, cosy, calm, luxury and I can relax here the way I want. The sraff is friendly and helpful. I knew them from last year already. Désirée did the service at the pool bar. She is so kind. The breakfast is incredible and has a wide range of choice. I like it very much. I will come back next year, the reservation is already done. The fact, that you only get one towel for the pool area, I do not understand. I asked for a second towel and the chambermaid said: one guest, one towel. So, I was there four days at the pool and got one towel. That's a pity. Especially when you have a balinese bed and you have to pay for it or consume at the pool bar, what is absolutely ok, but for these sunbeds one towel is definetely not enough. Sorry!

The hotel exceeded expectations, it could really charge more money. The rooms are spacious, clean and the food and drink is very well priced. The pool areais spotless and the terrace bar above the main hotel is a hidden gem with great views. It’s really well located for access to Cala Millor and Cala Bona. As a wheelchair user, I could take full advantage of the wet room and nowhere was off limits. I would recommend this hotel to all the Wheelchair users as the area was accessible as well, especially the promenade.

Great location between Calla Millor and Calla Bona, right on the coast. Excellent views looking out to the Sea. Large room with comfortable beds and very good shower. 2 swimming pools and plenty of Sun beds, never had a problem getting a sun bed although the hotel was full. The Bali beds were a great option Staff are very attentive and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Only a couple of minor points. Hand Soap instead of a bar of soap would be better, in the bathroom. The evening dinner service could do with some cooking of dishes while you wait, so that they are hot, as the chef cooks fresh dishes and then leaves you to help yourself.

Fabulous hotel, calm relaxing, wonderful breakfast and staff were excellent.

The food, the location, the staff, the pool and the fact that they give you the towels for the pool is a real bonus...the hotel is so so comfortable. Love this hotel...food is fabulous but all the staff are so lovely and so helpful.
