Hotel Biniamar

* 5 minutes max. walk to the beach. * The room had a refrigerator. * The staff at reception were friendly. * Dinner did not include drinks. * Breakfast and dinner had very similar food every day, and the quality was average. The selection was limited, and it was difficult to find food that actually tasted good. Most dishes were bland, with very little or no seasoning. * Vegetarian options were extremely limited and not filling. * The TV was very old, and had no interesting channels. * Beach towel exchange cost €2 per towel each day. * We were unable to cancel dinner even though we wanted to (Because of the food quality and variety were disappointing. * The hotel is not beachfront; it is about a 4–5 minute walk from the beach. * Standard half-board rooms only had twin beds instead of a double bed unless paying extra. *Some of the food tasted stale and did not seem freshly prepared. *A large part of the buffet consisted of fried food, with limited healthier or fresher options. * The hotel interior feels very outdated. Compared to the modern hotels nearby, it does not offer good value for the price. * You have to pay extra to use the safe. * There was nowhere to hang wet clothes or towels. We had to hang them over the balcony railing, and they often blew away because of the wind. * The lighting in our room was very poor, with cold white and greenish lights that made the room feel uncomfortable. * Housekeeping staff did not speak English or German, making communication very difficult. * The evening DJ mostly played old German and Spanish songs with very little variety, making the entertainment feel repetitive, and all of the guests were older adults.. * Overall, the facilities and services were very limited considering the high price.

Very nice and helpful staff The air conditioning wasn't on at the hotel. We asked and they said it was too early in the year, but it was already mid May! This meant we needed to keep the windows open and it was noisy outside. On 3 occasions we told reception that our shower was leaking and we had to use all our towels to stop it spreading. They sent a maintenance person each time, but he didn't fix the problem unfortunately

Our room and the hotel was very clean. Friendly & helpful staff. Super buffet breakfast with something for everyone. Pool area was again very clean with plenty of space. Location excellent less than a minute to the beach & lovely restaurants all around. Music in the hotel bar. No loud noise around the area after midnight. A really lovely hotel.

The staff was very friendly. The cleaning was daily and great as even the beds were moved when cleaning. The dinner option was excellent. It was 12€ in cash for a dinner and for that value we could eat whatever we want as much as we want instead of the overpriced food in other places. There was a terrace bar with a DJ until around 12 am. The best of all for us was how extremely close the beach was from the hotel. The wardrobe in our room had a broken part that was hanging loose in front of the door.

The location was great. We had to print out our tickets for the Nadal Museum and the staff graciously helped us with that. They offered y their service with a welcoming smile on numerous occasions. The breakfast was incredible. We loved our stay.

The staff is not polite and they focus only to German speakers. The furniture in the room is old and not good looking at all. Smell is bad in the rooms.

The balcony is great, the location is 2 minute walk from the beach and even closer to all the restaurant’s. The beds weren’t great.
