Hotel Santa Maria Playa

We booked this hotel for an extremely low price, and for what we paid, the value was honestly excellent. The breakfast was the biggest surprise very abundant, with a great selection of fruit, salads, cold meats, cheeses, sandwiches, croissants and many other options. It was much better than we expected for this price. The room was simple and a little old-fashioned, but clean and functional. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom worked well, and overall the accommodation provided everything we needed for a short stay. Unfortunately, our room was in a poor location, overlooking the pool and the restaurant of another hotel. There was very loud music and entertainment in the evenings, which made it difficult to relax. Guests staying in a different part of the hotel may have a much quieter experience. There was also a noticeable smell coming from the bathroom, possibly from the pipes or sewage system. It was not unbearable, but it was unpleasant. The surrounding area itself does not have much character, and there are many more beautiful and interesting places to stay around Mallorca. However, for travellers with a car who want an affordable, clean place to sleep, enjoy an excellent breakfast and explore the island during the day, this hotel is a very good option and worth the price.

Receptionist was very inflexible and borderline rude in denying my polite request for a late checkout. There was no good reason not to accommodate me, it was clear she just didn't want to be helpful.

Fine but little variation and the bacon wasn't very good,very fatty There wasnt enough hangers in the room,i had to keep a lot of my clothes in the case

Breakfast was ok with a lot of options but not high quality bread, sauces, cheese, desserts etc. Super clean, no issues, all easy, ac working well. One particular receptionist was very rude when I asked if there was umbrella for me to use for me and my baby to go for breakfast (cause it is not in the same building and it was raining very heavily), she simply said they do not have an umbrella, but when I came back I saw a guy giving her back one so I took it to use for my baby. The issue here is that she was very rude and did not answer as we expect a receptionist to respond to a guest. Also, I wish I had a double bed, but I had two single ones joined instead.

Very clean room. Cleaning every day, towels changed every day. Breakfasts are delicious. Very convenient location. From the balcony there was a view of the mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The room was very noisy because of the music playing in the night club next to the hotel.

Location,very big and beautiful reception hall, tasty breakfast. Very small room in the basement, broken shower, there wasn't even a small fridge so we didn't have cool drinking water. Reception staff wasn't nice and helpful, when we asked for a bowl for ice,he said its just 3stars hotel and they do not anything. The most horrible thing was in the morning, we found a lot of small ants around our bags on the floor. We were very disappointed in this room.

The lay out as you enter the hotel, modern and tasteful. Comfortable stay. Nothing……if I have to say anything it would be a kettle! I just love my cups teas!

The location, the staff, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was superb!

Excellent location, super market and bus station near by. The breakfasf is well served and everything was delicious. Our room was opossite of the carting race track and sometimes was a little bit noisy.

Cold pool, comfy beds, very close to the beach Elevator very slow and could hear some hear noise from club nearby (but not too loud)
