- Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly - Bathroom is clean and modern - Room overlooked main road. Hardly slept a wink due to sounds of noisy cars - TV in the room didn’t turn off so either I took my room key card out of slot for it to turn off (but meaning my devices didn’t charge) or kept the key card in but the TV is on all night - razor thin walls, I could hear everything (even with ear plugs), other guests yelling and watching TV

The breakfast spread was amazing, just what we wanted. Rooms were well maintained and the staff took an extra effort to make us feel warm and welcome!

Perfect for a short stay, conveniently located just off the main road on a quiet street, close to loads of restaurants and St Alex Church, good variety of breakfast options in the buffet including your choice of egg preparation, the bed is super comfy and big enough for two people, the room had the option of a fan and Air-conditioner, both of which are powerfully cold (loved it), bathroom was a decent size too - great shower! Room service is quick, staff are super friendly, the three star property has everything you need for a short stay. Overall good value for the price paid! Fixtures like the hand towel holder was a bit loose, otherwise nothing much than it met my expectations for a 3-star property.

The hotel offers all the essential facilities, and the value-for-money packages make it an excellent choice for anyone visiting North Goa. My room had a beautiful view of lush greenery, surrounded by the iconic coconut trees that Goa is known for. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the breakfast was excellent, and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for families, couples, and solo travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a memorable stay in Goa.

Had a wonderful stay at Meritas Grand Inn, Calangute. The property is well-maintained, centrally located, and very convenient for exploring North Goa. The staff are warm, attentive, and always ready to help, making the stay truly comfortable. As the occupancy was low, food was being served from Meritas Auberge, and it was simply delicious—freshly prepared, served hot, and customized as per our request. This personalized service added a special touch to the entire experience.

I had initially booked this property when it was earlier known as Calux Grand Inn. After going through the old reviews, I was hesitant and even considered cancelling my reservation. However, after learning that the hotel has now been taken over and managed by Meritas Hotels & Resorts, I decided to give it a chance—and I’m glad I did. A special thanks to Ms. Teresa, who was extremely kind and transparent in explaining the changes under the new management. Everything she committed to was delivered without compromise. Subid deserves a mention too—he is very active in ensuring the property is spotless, and overall the staff here are courteous, helpful, and genuinely eager to serve. The property is centrally located in Calangute, making it convenient to explore the beaches, markets, and nearby attractions. The experience feels upgraded and far better than what the older reviews reflect. I can confidently say that the management transition has made a remarkable difference, and I would recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to North Goa.

The location was good for us to travel and explore around The bathroom was keep getting a foul smell. The wifi was not working properly and also there was no network coverage. We had to remind for the complimentary water bottles. There was also no housekeeping done.heater was also not working well.

Breakfast was really good.... A good buffet spread. Rooms are not exceptional but service is really really good if you request nicely. Jeevan was super efficient We had a few hiccups as the boy on night duty wasn't very helpful. Wifi is poor but it did not affect us much

Water bottles could not be provided post 11pm, bcoz of unavailability of staff. Also the blanket was not clean
