The house rule regarding ordering dinner was quite stiff. You have to place an order before 4 PM; otherwise, you have to go out to dinner or order online. Not sure why; they may have their reasons, but it was odd for sure. TV was difficult to operate. When the TV was operating, the most important national news channels and sports channels were not available. Surely they can afford the little money it costs to pay the local cable connection providers, especially seeing how much business they were getting during my stay there.

The property location is spot on it's just few minutes away from Rabindra Sadan Station and can reach to any important place from the train. Hotel is very cozy, comfortable and clean ..feels like home, very homely environment. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room are clean, decent and have all the basic requirements. Breakfast is decent, healthy and most importantly fresh. They allow us to keep our food in their refrigerator. In general, we like everything about this hotel. Sunny room, at central but quiet too. I know where I want to stay when I come to Kolkata next time In general, I like everything about this hotel

I would stay here again on my next trip to Kolkata. The hotel driveway is easy to miss so pay close attention to the map if you're arriving by car.

Classy, quiet property near to the Victoria Memorial. Staff is attendant without being at all intrusive. Rooms are very comfortable.

My 2nd stay. A quiet oasis away from the bustle of teeming Kolkata. - Staff are professional, the place is very well managed, w cheerful Ms Shampa at reception. - Rooms are mostly updated & sheets are crisp. - try the delicious inhouse dinner- you need to order ahead.

Staff were welcoming & smiling. Especially cheerful Dalan, who prepared the delicious meals & presents them meticulously. - location is great, just 3min walk to Rabindra Sadan Metro.

They don't have a restaurant in house, so lunch is never served here. Although you can arrange for dinner by letting them know ahead of time which is pretty delicious and wholesome, sometimes if the cook is absent, you will need to arrange for your own food by either going out to a restaurant nearby or ordering online or over the phone and eating it in the dining area. Not the deal breaker, but a good thing to know.

Peoples where very helpful.. room is clean. Breakfast also Good. Location is Good. I think it was my best Choice. They would have more signs to lead the Customers to the reception counter . Our last day had a big flood and this was not their falt but the flood was about a meter deep.

The Red Arrow is an older property well kept and clean. The room was quiet equipped with a safe, hair dryer and bathroom amenities. The staff are friendly. Very good set breakfast with omelet, toast, juice, fruit, tea. An Indian lunch and dinner are offered. WiFi works. The location is down a small drive way that services several buildings and a parking garage that is monitored by security guards. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and the subway. Good value. If you are a non smoker ask in your reservation for a non smoking room. I had to change rooms upon arrival but it was not a problem for the manager to accommodate the request.

It was as i had expected it to be. Everything was working and neat and clean. Also, the food was very homely, however it had very less seasonal vegetables. Pls add some variety in the food that is offered especially the complementary breakfast and pls offer complementary tea and coffee and welcome drinks

The location gives you access to the city with public transportation Just something minor. The light switch was only reachable with 3-4 steps and not on the wall to the bed room but difficult and expensive to change

Comfortable beds, staff available 24h, AC, nice view from the living room. The shower water wasn't very warm (but still ok considering the hot weather), it was difficult to reach the staff via Booking message, dinner must be ordered by 4 pm (which is not convenient if one has a late flight and the staff does not reply online).

This is a great budget hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Had a great breakfast with masala omelette on the second floor. Despite the central location it is very quiet because it is set back from the main road. I would use this hotel again.
