Sol Katmandu Park & Resort

Food was good with small variations. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Lots of kids centric activities in the park and in the neighborhood. Good kids club in English Fresh vegetables were never fresh.

Great facilities for children with live shows, 4d movie theater and other thematic areas. The food/buffet, for those having half or full pension booked, is pretty decent. The standard room should be slightly bigger for the price. There is little-to-no sound proofing in the rooms and it can get noisy at some times.

Need improvement on the night entertainment with both adults and kids.

Kids club, staff ( very friendly) and overall the hotel was great, this was out 5th visit. Breakfast was good and dinner was ok. very crowded

Loved every minute...so much going on especially because of the Halloween program. Staff were lovely and me and my daughter had the best time.

Hotel combination with the water park is super comfortable for family with kids. The location also is ok as the public transportation stop is very near and it is very easy to manage. The hotel is close to beach. Because of the families with kids it gets very noisy. The food was quite bad and tasteless. Some attractions did not work or at some point was temporarily closed, as well as the kids pool. The water in the pool was freezingly cold. Kids pool was very shallow, but the other pool was too deep for mid aged kids. Although no reservation is allowed for the sun beds, they still were "reserved" with towels, etc.before people actually came to the pool. The rooms are small and narrow. The third bed in the room took additional space.

Very good place for kids, the park is a great add to the hotel. Too noisy at night, mainly because of the non respect of the customer. The room are clean but a bit out of date, we found the bathroom door almost falling down due to a broken hinge, sofa was dirty. The rest is functional, shower with good pressure and warm, the little beauty kit saved our day, well done.

Facilities were great. Many activities. THe lobby was a bit dark, not enough parking space around the hotel.

Everything children need is available and within reach. One late night there was a knock on the door of the room. It was a middle-aged lady speaking Spanish. I don't know what she was saying. She was not a hotel guest or employee. She entered the room and was talking. I don't know what. It was very suspicious. There was no night guard or security.

Basic

Very low standard in general. We did not have hugh expectations as this is a Hotel for kids with focus on activities. That said, we were still disapointed as the food was so bad we couldn’t eat it, would not recommend all invlusive. Old hotel, bring your kids to the park and buy a day pass, and stay somwhere else nearbye. We stayed for 3 nights, all to long, and we had to eat every meal outside the hotel

Nothing the worst childrens hotel I have ever I do not recommend this hotel even to my pets .. the staff are rude .. the rooms are not like advertised bed bugs poor food that will make you sick .. repetitive and distasteful they give you dirty linen and the drinks are poor the list is endless
