Kendall Square Location - interesting new area, clean, quite, new food options, easy metro access to Downtown Boston via the Red Line Kendall Square Stop Ample Breakfast in Lobby Clean Rooms Large King Suite was spacious with big desk area Ample kitchen items Ice Maker Ample fitness center Across the Street from MIT Would stay here again Big construction project across the street, didn't bother us too much, but I did need to wear ear plugs as there was work going on 24/7 even on Sunday, not the hotel's fault though. We were on top floor but if we were closer to ground level we would have asked to change rooms to the back side of the hotel. Parking was $55 per day but we found $72 for 4 days via Spot Hero just a few blocks away.

Kitchen was a little slow but food was great

Breakfast was pretty good. Location was great! Ease of getting around the city was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future. The size of the pullout bed was way too small. While the room and amenities were nice, for a family of 5 we needed more space in the beds to accommodate all of us.

Elevators work great. Nice walking distance to restaurants.
-
It was a bit noisy inside the room. Lots of machinery noises.

Family of 5 (teen kids) stayed for our summer vacation to Boston. Super convenient location to the T stop. Just a short ride on the T to everything we wanted to see, at much lower prices (and larger room size) than staying downtown. Breakfast was good. Having Starbucks in hotel was a nice treat. Used the daily food credits on drinks in the bar at the end of night. Loved the fun cocktail options available.

Breakfast was fine. Liked the oat milk. Shower not strong enough.

Front desk was seriously helpful in getting a room arrangement helping us travel with kids on college trip

The location was a plus, being a 5 min walk to the subway which was unfortunately closed the 9 days we were there. However shuttle buses were provided. Besides the shutdown of the subway the hotel should have pre-alert guests on their website of the massive constructions going around the hotel. However we love the gym and the convenience of laundry facilities. Breakfast was ample albeit a little boring. Our stay would have been perfect if the bald headed guy (too pissed to find out his name) at reception was friendlier and be less discriminating. He was mean when we asked for bottled water, always saying that they are running out and that we should buy. Customer service like his would definitely drive guests away. All the other staff at the reception never had a problem giving us water when we asked. He was the exception! In all the other hotels in Boston that we stayed, and likewise worldwide, and we are literally living in hotels almost 6 months in a year, we have never been refused water when asked. There was another unpleasant incident one night when the toilet bowl water overflowed when flushing, very unpleasant indeed. I also wish something could have been done with the pressure of the showers, the water pressure was very low and makes washing one’s hair a tedious task.
