The Charles Hotel has one of the most relaxing lobbies, cushy seating and ample outlets to recharge your phone. The gym is one of the best I’ve used at a hotel, let alone a resort. Friendly staff and spacious rooms. 👍

Check in was easy and room was available earlier than expected. Bell service was helpful at check in and out, and the car loop was helpful for even rainy day loading/unloading. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and high quality. The smaller size was well managed and organized well even for a family of four. Small extras of free snacks and Path waters were welcomed by our kids after a long flight on a hot day. Location is great (but it was extremely quiet inside despite being in a very lively area) and restaurants in-house were easy and delicious. Many nooks and books for reading or hanging out between events. All around great hotel in a great location!

The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The complimentary snacks were a big hit, and the breakfast café was, as well. Great location along the Charles River near Harvard Square.

Excellent location, very comfortable. It has a boutique feel. Loved the game area, snacks, bottle of water. Very helpful staff. walking distance to metro and buses. Breakfast at restaurant is subpar and overpriced. Do yourself a favor and walk over to any cafe or restaurant nearby.

Liked the location and the cozy feeling of the place. The air conditioning was very strong in the common areas and the staff was quite diverse / inconsistent in terms of efficiency.

Hotel was clean, room was comfortable, service was excellent. Real nice gym, only wish there was a pool. Convenient to everything, much less expensive parking, about a block away that lets you park overnight during the weekend.

Excellent location. Very close to Harvard University. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Near bus and metro station. Restaurant called Henrietta is excellent. Very clean rooms. Very classy and elegant hotel. Clean towels everyday. Housekeeping provides great service. I think they always vacuum the rooms too. Reception staff not so nice, when you call for assistance, they don’t pickup the phone most of the time. But housekeeping seems very nice. One of the bellboys, Dejan is helpful.
