TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Jose Campbell

Well, the staff is helpful and friendly, hotel is in a great location, but an incident happened of a guest smoking in their room, alarm went off, and the firemen were called. As a guest it was rather chaotic as there was not a staff outside the hotel speaking with guests after the hotel was evacuated, It would have been nice if someone had informed us as to what was going on. No communication with guests….not a good situation.

we just stayed overnight one night, but the accommodations were comfortable clean, and the breakfast was good! The only thing is that we were facing east and there were no blackout curtains in the room, which would've been helpful at 6 o'clock in the morning!

The room was quiet considering it’s on the 1st floor. The room had a bad lingering smell. I turned the fan on to continuous along w the AC and it helped rid of the smell slightly. I think the smell was coming from the carpet, similar to dirty feet. I just went and got Lysol spray and saturated the carpet. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Perfect location and The Pruneyard was about 2 blocks away. There’s also a paved walking path/park adjacent to the place.

I stay there when I travel for work. It’s always clean and the staff is great!

The room itself was not huge and the only bed size options are queen size (we are used to sleeping on a king size bed, being that my husband is a large man) but we made it work. There is a sofa bed so that helps. The room prices are very reasonable for the location and all that you get. Being close to downtown Campbell with all its shops and restaurants is a big plus. We will definitely stay here again.

Love staying there. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Staff always friendly.

Staff was helpful but not too cheerful. Room was clean but toilet would leak every time it was flushed. Nothing to complain about, just being transparent for the next customer to know. I would bring my own body wash and shampoo. Plenty of parking and good location.

Good area in Campbell, staff were nice and helpful, continental breakfast was great. Room was big and spacious. The only complain I have is, the pullout sofa bed was not comfortable to sleep in. Other than that our one night stay was perfect.
