Loud music all the time everywhere, no conversation possible. How to be social without talking?

Loud music everywhere until midnight which made it impossible to have a conversation.

The property location was walking distance from food restaurant and activities. My stay in Mexico was extremely disappointing due to ongoing issues with the staff and overall management. Staff members were often rude, unhelpful, and lacked professionalism when addressing guest concerns. Communication was poor throughout the stay, with inconsistent information being provided and little effort made to resolve problems. The most troubling aspect of my experience was feeling as though guests were being intentionally put in difficult situations involving local police. Rather than providing support and guidance, staff actions and misinformation appeared to contribute to unnecessary interactions with law enforcement, creating stress and concern for guests.

Location The supervisor and trip organizer were helpful, but some front desk staff were very unfriendly. I was asked to pay even though my Booking.com payment had already been confirmed by the supervisor. Later, after paying the environmental fee, two staff members again asked me for more money without even greeting me. I had to ask them to speak with the supervisor. Their attitude was rude and unprofessional. I have stayed in many hostels, and I believe some staff members would benefit from additional customer service and communication training. Guests are not just payments—we are people and should be treated with courtesy and respect. The supervisor and trip organizer were professional, but some front desk staff could improve their communication skills. The staff at Tulum Mayan Monkey are a great example of professional and friendly service.

Two ppl were sick n coughing all nite, they should have worn masks or something. bot the hostels fault but it had others in the room nervous to get sick

The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - it exceeded my expectations. I also really liked that there was a coworking space. I stayed in the female dormitory, and on the first night, around midnight, one of the guests invited her friends into our room without asking, talked loudly, and played music at a high volume. It was quite uncomfortable because I had to go to bed early for a day tour the next morning. It was frustrating not being able to sleep quietly when I needed to, but fortunately it only happened on the first night, and the rest of my stay was fine. Everyone I stayed with seemed like nice people, and I think it happened because they became friendly with each other. Since this is one of the limitations of staying in a hostel, I think it helps to keep an open mind and not expect complete quiet all the time. :)

Pool, helpful and generous staffs, and the double room Water from the filtered water dispenser tasted a bit weird

The location! Vibe is chill i appreciate that the toilets and showers are seperate. There is a kitchen. It is directly across from the Playa Chacmol beach access

I met sooooo many friends here

Location, activities to have people gather and get to know each other. Food, drinks , pool Shared rooms can be a bit noisy . Amenities were just okay kept, not damaged , but could be better for the price . I also think some of the staff are volunteering so they’re not making money. Are they getting paid with experience ? I thought that wasn’t allowed anymore.

Comfortable beds, cute shared areas, although a bit cramped. Very nice reception staff. Beach access nearby. My roommates would lock the room door with the deadbolt, so even though my key card worked, I couldn't get in.

We need just one night stay after a long holiday in Mexico. The location was good. The staff were friendly the accommodations not so much. The beds are hard. It was cold in there couldn’t control the AC. The air conditioner was leaking all over the floor. you can’t control who stays there so just be aware. The noise, the hard beds, the lack of bringing your own drinks into your room never mind the pool area, which is very small. The staff was good. Location was good but overall, I would never stay there again. The food was mediocre. I can go on and on just maybe go to ilas Morales . The price we booked through Expedia or whatever website came to $67 for two nights that we had to pay Mexican tax after we arrived at the hotel we could’ve stayed in a five star resort at that price. It wasn’t a pleasant day they try hard but they just can’t offer. What most in my experience have all the amenities and no restrictions on where you have your cocktail on the deck, you can’t bring anything in not to your room or to the patio area.
