The long elevator waits, over crowded pools, no entertainment unless you want to go upstairs and pay to drink or even sit down
-
Pool closes early and top floor is pointless and food wasn't tht good
-
Everything ,the layout, waiting 20 minutes for a elevator

The only thing I liked was how it looked EVERYTHING ELSE ABSOLUTELY SUCKED!!!! The food tasted terrible even the fruit and the drinks barely have liquor ( I watched them make them)and this was all 3 days the all inclusive restaurants I had to send back all my dishes I tried all of them the only one that was good was the steak house. AND ITS ALWAYS HOT like there’s only AC in your room but the lobby/restaurants/hallways/elevators was extremely hot ALL THE TIME.

It was awesome that it was on a beautiful part on the beach and close to downtown. Too many young adults,

I like the ambiance and the staff were all so friendly. I also love that they have security at the front before you come through the entrance which made me feel safe for my first time in Mexico. Oh! And the butlers that comes with diamond club are the best. They will literally make sure you okay and that if you need anything. LOVED IT ALL HONESTLY I CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!!! The dress code for Hunters steakhouse & the Asian restaurant

Marisol and Aturo were very helpful butlers. Immediately assigned to us, they created a group chat and kept updating us with all our program for the day.meeting and taking us to the various places. Booking restaurant reservations for us. On the last day during checkout, they came to intervene in a misunderstanding concerning our billing. They were very helpful. Hope to work with them when we visit again. Vincent was also very very helpful and was available to plan my wife's surprise birthday decoration and package. He put everything together. Great gentleman and very communicative. Made sure everything in my wife's birthday surprise package worked as planned.

That staff is friendly, the pools are very well kept, the rooms are spacious and luxurious, no complaints from me The food could be a little better

All adults and the pools were nice The pools during the day the DJ was boring and can use some updated music but very nice pool and bar
-
Great Location, Great beach, spacious luxury rooms with a great beach front views!. The staff is friendly and professional, butler service is recommended and worth it, get the Diamond Club… food is good…. Pools and the overall property is gorgeous. Elevators are little slow

I liked the staff, most of them were nice. Went there with a friend, and we were given a room with one bed instead of two. The next day, I had to go to reception at least three times just to make sure we’d get a proper room with two beds. They asked us to check out the following day, so we did at 12 PM, but didn’t get a new room until 3 PM, which was frustrating. We weren’t new check-ins, so they could have prioritized us and had a room ready within an hour after checkout time. The elevators were another issue, always a long wait, and even when one arrived, it stopped on almost every floor. Overall, it didn’t feel like good value for money. The food was decent, but nothing special. The room itself was quite noisy, there were parties every night, and the beats carried right into our room, making it hard to relax or sleep.

I had a wonderful stay at Royalton CHIC Cancun. The hotel is modern, stylish, and located on a beautiful stretch of beach with amazing ocean views. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the vacation. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay, always ready to help and make the experience enjoyable. The food options were good, with a variety of restaurants and drinks available, and the atmosphere around the resort was lively and fun, especially with the entertainment and rooftop events.

The physical property definitely has its highlights. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well-maintained. The beach itself is absolutely amazing, offering beautiful views and great water. Additionally, the restaurants were quite good once you actually got to eat, though I have to add the caveat that it was a massive, frustrating struggle just to secure a dinner reservation. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation where you feel valued as a guest, look elsewhere. My stay at the Royalton Chic was incredibly disappointing, primarily because the entire experience felt like one giant, relentless cash grab. The frustrations started immediately with a horrible check-in process. The front desk staff operated exactly like robots—completely devoid of warmth, helpfulness, or genuine hospitality. Furthermore, as a Marriott Elite member staying at a Marriott property, I expected at least a baseline of loyalty recognition. Instead, I received absolutely zero privileges, which is frankly unacceptable for a brand of this tier. The absolute worst part of the property is that they try to upsell you at every single corner. Want to access the rooftop? You can’t, unless you hand over more money to upgrade to their "Diamond Club." They also try to lure you in with a "$300 resort coupon," which is the biggest scam of the entire property. It is not a $300 credit. Instead, it is a deceptive booklet of nearly useless micro-discounts—$20 off one specific activity, $10 off another—that theoretically adds up to $300. It is a completely misleading marketing tactic. Even the basic amenities fell entirely short of expectations. The beach severely lacked adequate seating, making it a daily struggle just to find a spot to sit, and the drinks across the property simply weren't great. Between the deceptive coupons, the robotic service, the lack of seating, and the exhausting push to upgrade just to access basic areas like the rooftop, I cannot recommend this resort. Save your money and book a property that actually respects its guests.

It just needs consistent maintenance and cleaning.

My room and the view of the ocean The restaurant that we had to make reservations for was not worth the hassle of making reservations. The food was not good for the Asian and the Italian restaurants since that was the two restaurants we tried.
