Staff is friendly, the property is brand new Room cleaning was done poorly, hair was everywhere from previous people that stayed in the room. Also several people I’ve met had diarrhea from the food including our family

RIU is easily one of the best all-inclusive, adults-only resorts I have ever stayed at. The food was absolutely amazing, the pools and beach were beautiful, and I loved that the bar was open 24 hours. They also went above and beyond by decorating our room to help celebrate my husband’s birthday and our anniversary, which made our stay feel extra special. The resort taxis charged an outrageous $70 USD for a ride that only cost $15 USD via Uber, and I felt completely taken advantage of by those transportation prices. I was also incredibly disappointed to be charged a fee after throwing up on a towel; it was an illness I had no control over, and it really should have been handled as a courtesy. Finally, because there is no room service and the specialty restaurants close early, the 24-hour snack bar needs more variety.

Everything was great! As soon as we arrived the staff jumped to help us, took us to our room and were there for us. The property itself feels new and highly maintained. The resort has an app with everything you need and the staff was super responsive and friendly. The food was delicious in all options ( buffet and restaurants) and the pools and beaches were clean and spacious. Perfect vacation! Some nights the activities took place in the hotels which required early registration and transportation which was less convenient but not enough to destroy our fun.

The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. Even though we found another set of pillows, they were still very uncomfortable. Adding a dance floor for guests is nice. The entertainment ends with the show on stage and everyone just leaves.

Someone stole my phone

Everything was good I had to pay extra to get the room we thought we already paid for as we could barely see the water stuck in a corner wasn’t what we paid for. Our view had to pay extra to get a better view but then couldn’t get a high floor. Wasn’t happy about it. There was one host that was at the Steakhouse and then at another restaurant that was very moody, very argumentative as he told us a 30 minute wait and a hour later when we checked in he said he told us a hour to a hour and a half wasn’t a great experience with him our waiters were okay.

Tons of pool space and food. Slightly noisy

Great buffet, drinks are good not too strong or weak, great service, beautiful beach and pool facilities. Not crowded or wild party atmosphere. Perfect for group getaways. The included room credit ($900) is a scam, can't be redeemed except under very stringent conditions rendering it unusable. refilling of the in room bar is not consistent and often requires a call to the front desk. The specialty restaurants charge extra for their wine selection, food is just okay, and the music is WAY TOO LOUD, results in every table having to yell and the waitstaff unable to hear your order.

Everything was great.. our only issue was a loud moving furniture noise above us didn’t get enough sleep but overall it was a nice experience I had previously asked for an ocean view room through the app but got a garden view instead but it was nice anyways

Got food poisoning, hard to find a place at the pools, they don’t even give you toothpaste for the room or anything , no room service
