Avondale by the Sea Motel

Located in Historic District walking distance to everything. Would definitely recommend this motel to everyone….

I was traveling as a mom with her 13 year old son and we got a third floor two queen beds room. All of the rooms face the ocean but the third floor is the best. The rooms are large and very clean and comfortable and my son and I enjoyed playing uno on our porch watching the sunset opposite the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We really had such a wonderful stay, walking to arcades and restaurants and ben and jerry's. We had beach passes provided by the hotel and could walk on the beach whenever we wanted. We will definitely be coming back next year and will probably be bringing more family with us. Thank you so much for this amazing vacation.

So nice place.

The location is great. Right near the beach. Plentiful dining options nearby. Washington Street Mall is a short walk away. The room was very clean and had an Ocean View. The staff was very friendly. This maybe not be popular. But I understand you can not smoke in the rooms, but on vacation I do enjoy a nice cigar. There is no smoking anywhere on the premises.

Best stay for a good price. Nothing- it's great

The room was very clean. There were plenty of towels and tolietries available. Our oceanview was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The women on the day staff and Adam on the evening staff were very cordial and welcoming. Having to travel a distance to reach home, it would have been nice to be able to spend more time the day of checkout to enjoy the beach longer. The hotel manager was very nice but not compliant.

Clean. Friendly. Quiet. Across street from ocean for easy access and close to downtown activities and stores. No elevator, but very manageable.

Staff and location Rooms were small but I had high expectations because cape may is very expensive

Very friendly staff. Excellent customer service. Very convenient to the boardwalk and shops. View from the balcony is wonderful. No elevator, but knew that when booking. Booked for the convenience to the convention center.

Breakfast was functional for a quick breakfast. Staff was available if there was any issues. No elevator. We were on the third floor and steps were a challenge

Such an enjoyable stay! Property was well kept and in an excellent location. The staff was so gracious and Alex was so helpful! Would definitely pick the Avondale again!

Fabulous place to stay in Cape May at a great price. It's close to everything.
