Long isles to rooms

Good location, wonderful views and facilities, Very nice hotel for 4 stars. I liked that one of the bathrooms had the water hose bidet. The design of the two bedroom apartment bathroom is unusual. It had an ensuite bathroom with no toilet seat, which was in a smaller room in outside the bedroom.

The cleaness of the room it was a downfall for me, bed sheets were not changed, floor was not vacuumed until we checked out, toilet trash bin was not emptied. what a disappointment.
-
The beds were comfortable but the pillows are awful. There is a pillow menu and I tried all of them and none of them were great. For the price and compared to the great quality of the rest of the stay, I would expect better pillows.

The staff, exceptional.

Can't think of anything that could have improved our stay

Breakfast was decent and the staff at breakfast were fairly friendly. There was one pleasant waitress at the dinner our first night which was a pleasure, the pool was also the highlight of the trip. For a family with 3 small kids and a double stroller, it was inconsiderate to give us a basement room with zero access to an elevator to access our room, only a winding metal staircase. It was troublesome and worrisome to take the stairs up and down every time we left our room to access restaurants. The housekeeping took a very long time to be fulfilled. The front desk lady at check in was very unpleasant to deal with, not welcoming for our first moments of being in Cape Town. I had high expectations for paying top dollar for the best hotel in Cape Town, but it was underwhelming.

Amazing stay at the President, fantastic location to get out onto the Cape of Good Hope, Boulder's Beach, but also into city centre and all key landmarks. Sea Point was beautiful, plenty of places to exercise too. Staff at the hotel were super friendly, helpful, good food and drinks, fantastic breakfast, secure parking, good Wi-Fi. 10/10 stay if you're in Cape Town N/a

Upon arrival, the bell boy was very friendly, courteous and professional, as were the front desk staff. All my requests in the room were met. I loved my bed and pillows. The breakfast was great too. I also utilized the spa services and the professionalism and courteousness of the staff was stellar. The fact that I was not able to enjoy the hotel to its fullest. I had only one night. I intend to return and recommend The President to others.

While in Cape Town, I was in a vulnerable situation (overtired, both eSIM and credit card deactivated randomly upon arrival) and experienced a security incident. Head of security and management was very responsive though pretty much everyone on staff else gossiped about it and i felt they hovered over me the day after. It was quite embarrassing. While a handful treated me with respect, others didn’t understand and lacked empathy Film set next door was very disruptive and had to be moved after first night. In the second room, the electrical sockets didn’t work despite trying all my devices didn’t charge in the room at all. Strange things also occurred once I arrived; one guest was persistent in asking about my hotel stay, how long I was there, what floor and room? It made me very uncomfortable.

Best hotel breakfast I've had. Bathroom towels felt a little cheap
