THE BIG is a newly renovated Luxury Hostel in Green Point, Cape Town and is the first of its kind. THE BIG offers its guests the best of two worlds – the style, service and cleanliness of a guest house/hotel, with the amazing social aspect of a hostel at competitive rates. Everyone that leaves THE BIG is sad to go. THE BIG is all about creating a space that acts as a "home away from home" All of our rooms are unique in style, shapes & have been newly renovated & styled by fabulous interior decorators. They all have bathrooms, are serviced daily with clean towels and linen provided. THE BIG has an inverted hence load shedding doesn't affect THE BIG. Free parking is available, a tour desk can help to organize any day excursions and an airport shuttle at a charge. THE BIG is centrally located just a 5 minutes' walk to V&A Waterfront and Sea Point Promenade, The BIG offers a choice of modern private room or dormitory room accommodations. It features a pool, braai facilities and free Wi-Fi and a free breakfast.

The hostel location is really good, walking distance to the VA Waterfront. The staff is really flexible, friendly and helpful. The breakfast has been the best ever in a hostel!

Location was very good, near harbor. Staff super friendly. Rooms very comfortable, big beds, big bathroom. Great welcome gift. Breakfast was very good although some eggs has to be prepared by yourself. It was a great experience anyway. i think all was nice and ok.

I’m already looking forward to coming back. The energy here is unreal ,everyone is so warm and welcoming, you feel it even during breakfast. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the dorm feels like a private room. Leaving was the hardest part, but I already know I’ll be back and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else but The Big, thank you The Big Family ? Nothing absolutely amazing

I had an amazing stay at The BIG! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the space is clean and comfortable, and it was very easy to meet other people. A perfect balance between social and quiet at nights (not a party place!) The Friday braai was a highlight!

I haven't met nicer hostel staff. Everyone (john, preem, chanti, josleen) were all genuinely nice and caring people that creates a family vibe and makes everyone smile. You guys are the best! Wifi was slightly choppy at times

Clean, well decorated spaces throughout. The bed was SO comfortable. Property felt very safe/secure. Reception was helpful in booking activities. The bread at breakfast was delicious.
