Umoya Boutique Hotel

The location is beautiful, perfect to relax and enjoy a great sunrise. The staff was super kind and attentive during our stay. Definitely would like to comeback and encourage everyone to stay here.

Beautiful spot nestled away in the hills with a beautiful view of tabletop from our room. It was a great spot to escape the hustle and bustle of Cape Town during our stay there without going to far (it was about a twenty minute trip from the waterfront). Huge room, great breakfast and AMAZING night sky viewing. Nothing!

This hotel is soooo charming, and is so underrated. The photos do not give it justice. It has won architectural awards for the design, and it is beyond beautiful. The details, the spacious room, the communal areas, everything was spectacular. The whole team were great, and very helpful especialliay Suzie, who took time to explain everything in the hotel, the area and beyond! Such a lovely lady. The rooms were very big, very charming, and the views are beautiful. The pool area, and parking on site are also wonderful. Will surely recommend to others, and stay there again. The bathroom was also beautiful, spacious, and with a big window with an amazing view. They also offered me early check in. They were just so nice! I wish I stayed for longer. Breakfast ordering is a bit complicated, and you have to fill out a paper, which cheapens the feel a bit. The room did not have air-conditioning.

Loved the staff there, they really went out of their way to help and made you feel right at home. If there was ever a problem they would do their absolute best to resolve it any way they could.

The staff were exceptional, especially Qaisar, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The included breakfast was a nice touch and provided a great start to our days. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend Umoya Residence to anyone looking for a cozy and stylish place to stay in Cape Town.

What an amazing place! Beautiful villa, very friendly staff, gorgeous garden and delicious breakfast. The pool was freezing. Even after asking if they could turn the heating on, I don’t think they did as it was still freezing. Such a shame as it was one of the reasons we chose the property.

Beautiful new hotel above Hout Bay. Stylish, comfortable, peaceful. The breakfast is delicious and prepared with lots of care. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was lovely, great location as well. No aircon. The rooms do not have aircon so you need to leave your sliding door open. Because of the natural location, bugs get into the room ....

Everything. The location is lovely, calm and with an incredible view upon the bay. The breakfast is very nice, it may not look a lot at first but everything is done to avoid as much waste as possible, so if you still need something or are hungry, just ask the staff and you will get it in no time. The place is calm, the breakfast room is quiet and very beautiful. The pool is also very good, shallow at the beginning for you GS kids and deep at the end (1.9 m or more) perfect for adults. Bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms too and very clean. And don't forget about the shower gel and shampoo that smell delightful but not strong. Ho and alongside the path, lavender, mint, rosemary and other plants are growing making the garden smelling good. Everyone is kind, lovely, always trying to help. We had an amazing stay and are very sad we had to leave. Highly highly recommend it!!!! Nothing, we loved it all. I would not even know what to complain about.

Beautiful place with a unique and stunning design. Fabulous breakfast and some great recommendations for dinner. Nice pool area and rooms are lovely. Alphonso, Derrick, Yolanda and team at Umoya make this experience feel like home - what a gem. Ask for a room with a view. Some rooms overlook the drive instead of the ocean so may be slightly noisy in the early morning but fine if you are an early riser.

Such a wonderful Hotel. Alfonso was amazing. Always easy to find him if we needed anything at all. He was also very accommodating when we requested a late checkout. The breakfast was delicious. I would return to stay here again as the staff were so welcoming and the hotel is very relaxing.

We loved the breakfast. They provided plenty options and the hot breakfast was delicious. We loved the rooms, it was nice and inviting.
