It's very noisy the traffic but no one can help for that

The Grand Daddy is a friendly and stylish hotel with exceptional service and great breakfast. Every staff member was extremely kind and helpful, which made this one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The hotel is in an area, which is busy until late night

My room had a horrible chemical smell that inflamed my lungs beyond anything I had experienced. I had to go to the pharmacy and get an inhaler to clam my lungs down - I don’t have asthma

Location - very rough area of town when the sun goes down

The staff were very polite

Lovely breakfast, cool location in the hub of CBD. I was worried it'd be noisy being in the middle of town but it was quiet and really comfy.

Staff was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Rooftop bar was a great bonus!

Starting from the beautiful building, this hotel felt like a carefully curated gift box. From the genuine smiles at reception to the eclectic, Wonderland-inspired interior design, every detail reflects creativity and personality. The rooftop is a true design highlight, featuring iconic Airstream trailers that create an unexpected and playful architectural experience above the city. The room was spacious and well designed, the breakfast abundant, and the location on vibrant Long Street added energy and character to the stay. A boutique hotel with a strong identity — inspiring, memorable, and highly recommended for design lovers.

They advertise heavily on being on the rooftop bar when you stay in an airstream. We planned our trip accordingly, we were celebrating our engagement and planned to spend the evening wedding planning at the roof top bar right outside of our room. On arrival we were told it was closed to us as there was a private event which was extremely disappointing and loud. If we would have been given a heads up we would have adjusted our accommodation accordingly. Not to mention when we arrived we were told the elevator was broken and we were in charge of hauling our own luggage to the fourth floor up the stairs with no offer of help. Thankfully the elevator maintenance guys were there and let us take it up. Overall the stay was fine but the bar being closed to the public and having to awkwardly walk through the event any time we wanted to leave our room was extremely disappointing.

Beautiful historic hotel with an awesome rooftop bar and airstream trailers you can stay in. It’s downtown with many restaurants nearby. Nothing!

Great location Great staff The bathroom "door". A sliding door that did not fit in the door frame and got stuck. Like being on a toilet "next to" the bed.

We booked a standard room with two beds from 30 March to 4 April. When we arrived at the hotel after a moment we discovered that the room had no light or air, because the window opened onto a hole on the terrace above. I pointed this out to the receprion and was told that it was a standard room! I remarked that in any room the window must be there and that in any case it must be indicated on the booking, when choosing the room. which it was not. after a couple of days we asked them to change the room because we could not breathe (in fact the air-conditioning was always on), and they gave us another room on a higher level (a window on the courtyard with all the motors of the air-conditioners of the rooms outside our window!) and they even charged us a supplement.
