The staff were incredible, especially Andi, at the front desk - any thing we beeeded she came thru with. The beds were comfortable also. Nice breakfast I wish it were closer to waterfront
-
Breakfast was a great start to the day, great selection. Room carpets are old and torn. Better care can be taken to paint work and assembly of TV etc, which is all not alined. Noisy location due to the market from early till late. Parking a challenge.

the breakfast was very excellent . strategic location .

Location. Good buffet breakfast, but needs more variety. Sauna is great and free x pool. Location great as green market right out front, with a laundry, bookseller, church and mini marts right there. A variety of restaurants within a few blocks. Pool, but no shade. Phone didn’t work entire time despite asking multiple times. Front desk gave wrong info but Tamarind was on the spot to sort things out. Too much deep fried food on both restaurant dinner menu and at breakfast (also stop spraying so much seed oil on Teflon pans). Bedding was so heavy with heavy cotton duvets..in the tropics. Shower is thin water in the a.m………

Being pushed out of the room on the checkout day, that was rude.

Breakfast was really average, not something I could compare to a 4-star hotel. Often, I could just find pork sausage and bacon ONLY as meal with complementary omelet hot shower was hard to find in the morning. Also, some disturbance from technical team knocking at door without notice.

In the center of things. Walking to restaurants, Company’s Gardens and easy Uber rides. Fun to be beside the Greenmarket Square and see an activity not happening elsewhere. City security patrols in yellow vests are all about for safe walking. Good breakfast, and decent dinner menu with a nice ambiance in the restaurant in the evenings. Large patio was great for the one night jazz festival and for just lolling or reading a book if not on the roof in the sun. The staff couldn’t have done more to make our stay truly memorable and helped us with the smallest tasks. They really seemed happy to be part of the service here, with ready smiles and a morning hello. Our family away from home. The water pressure in the shower was erratic in the a.m particularly.. Might have used the pool area more when hot but no shade umbrellas or such. I appreciate that wind may be a problem.

The location Didn’t stay long enough
-
perfect , central location staff was friendly and so helpful will definitely be back.
-
Very central location with lots of security. one or two characters in the area but closely monitored by security and heavy police presence. Central location gives you access to the nearby museums, parks, shops, bars, resturaunts, central hop on hop off bus and urban safari buses. Just a quick uber ride to the V& A waterfront. very friendly and helpful staff, especially Letta the security guard. Air conditioning and Pool on the roof was a welcome bonus on hot days.
-
Location. The hotel is located on the market square with all the street vendors plus all the side street vendors. Very close to restaurants, nightclubs, hop-on hop off bus and much more. Main entrance identification not identifiable from the main streets. A lotto tricky too find.
-
The receptionists excellent but the waiters and waitresses at the dining area where not attentive at all we had to call for help the whole time. 2)- The toilet was so tiny it was very had to get around the door the whole time.
-
I wish the Hotel would provide more AFRICA foods for Breakfast, & Room services would clean the room on time.
-
everything is great The only problem is in our room there wasnt like a small little kitchen area or at least kitchen appliances or untensils if u wanted to make your own food or eat and stuff and also it didnt have a smart tv we couldnt watch netflix or anything like that
-
The location is perfect as many stores and eateries are within the surrounding. Breakfast was good
-
I don’t have any complaints.
-
The location was excellent, the Breakfast was good. This is a very old Hotel, the rooms are very small with tiny bathrooms-no where to store your belongings-the Airconditioning was iffy.
-
I booked last minute, stayed for one night, I got in late and left in the morning so I didn't enjoy the facilities (even though they looked great). For me it was about accommodating my last minute which they did well. The room was fine, convenient location, super comfortable bed. Thanks for having me!
