Motel 6 Carlsbad, CA Beach

The front desk ladies were excellent. The room was very clean on the surface, but I found a small crumpled up piece of paper between the sheets in one of the beds. There was also what appeared to be dental floss on the floor under the table. The room had an unpleasant odor. The pool was cloudy. The other guests were friendly. For a Saturday night stay, it was reasonably quiet.

I have been enjoying my stay here the pool is great it's quiet and no one is here my room is big I have my room is big I have lots of space and I like it here

The room was old and not well kept. Air conditioning unit was loud and kept us awake at night. Key cards wouldn’t work had to go to the office 3 times to get new ones. The one time there was a line of about 8 people so that wait ran us late missed our train to dinner. Had to then uber and waste $50 to get where we were going. Not a good stat at all.

We had water leaking from the ceiling, most likely the AC unit.. The floor was filthy dirty, the tables were burned and trashy. I had my 6 and 3 year old kids and was actually embarrassed and felt bad for them. The guy who worked the desk was rude and the two women that were there were super nice. Motel 6 use to have nice accommodations, and a decent reputation. Ive stayed at a few and they weren't as bad at all compared to this place. I didnt complain, Ai just would never stay there again or recommend ANYONE stay there. It was pretty sad experience..

Location Talk about the LACK of customer service!!! Your employees need to be trained in customer service! They are LAZY, lacking all intelligence, your employees have ZERO problem solving skills! My rooms ceiling was literally raining water! Floor was flooded. You’d think your employees would move me to a new room?!? Nope I was forced to stay in your motel mess for 2 days! Was I reimbursed for those 2 days?!? NOPE!! They’d need a brain in order to do their jobs!

Crackhouse of Carlsbad. Don’t be surprised when you show up. The staff is rude and they routinely turn people away who have reservations already booked and don’t notify them. There might not be a clean room available for you even though you booked and showed up and everything else is full in the area, they won’t care.

It is ok to stay to sleep and clean for two nights, but no shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tissue box, dryer and extra toilet paper!

The room was not clean, hair in the shower, toilet not clean. Dirty as a slum. Key card was a trial to get it to work. Air conditioning was weak. No WiFi at all, even though out front on the sign it says free WiFi. The check in staff was nice and tried their best. But every aspect of the place was bad. I have stayed in so called 3rd world motels and they were better. This place either needs to be bulldozed or 100% remodeled. Nothing good here.
