Hotel Dorado Plaza Bocagrande - All Inclusive

The staff was very friendly The hotel is not like the pictures, is really old, ac don’t work properly, beach is filthy and smells bad.

View and location were nice. Food was decent. The gentlemen who welcomed me was great. The staff and drinks in the VIO bar were superb. I brought a friend back and your security guard made her feel like a prostitute. It was a big problem. Then your receptionist charged me 500 COP for her to enter the building. Paper Dixie cup drinks by the pool are nonsense.

The best feature is its location… perfect access to beach front… Well, many things happened: 1. Upon arrival, they were not prepared for receiving a large group of guest, it was like if they intended to make us wait almost 2 hours on the counter, just to be late for the attractions on the first day. 2. They didn’t explained correctly how to get the beach towels or how to use the laundry services, extra time lost. 3. The hot water was not always available, and once we got it, it was shut off before finishing the shower. 4. It’s more a 3 star hotel, than the 4 star hotel you put in the Booking app.

Employees were rude, they didn’t allow me to bring a hat on the pool even I told them I had a medical condition and one of their team already approve it, they started to fight with me. The light was out, the food was the same every day

Friendly staff, location right by the beach (if that’s your topmost priority) The hotel is quite jaded and in urgent need of a complete renovation. Few and small communal spaces. The food options were uninspiring and seating was limited. Noise level in the main dining area unbearable during peak hours. The air conditioning in the rooms can only be set at “Super cool” or “Off”. Bath rooms are tiny and the amenities very basic and limited. No rooms with balconies. Elevator capacity low, so waiting times typically frustrating. Loud music from the “club area” started at around 5 pm and went on until midnight, so if you’re sound sensitive, be sure to get a room well away from that. Only one, quite small pool that was overcrowded with kids playing . The pool beds were few so don’t expect to get one. No gym. Location right by the beach in a very touristy area with restaurants and shops but nothing much else to see or do. The hotel boasts a 3-star rating but in reality doesn’t deserve more than 1-2 stars.

Room flooded due to window not being sealed properly. Key cards consistently didn’t work. Breakfast selection was okay. Front desk staff were not helpful

Do not even think about staying in this hotel. Booking.com should not allow this type of properties to be on their website. Room photos are fake or at least are not up to date. This has been the worst experience of my life. I can't say enough bad things about this hotel: - Rooms are outdated - Bathrooms are very small - No iron and hair dryer did not work - AC does not have a remote - Wifi sucks - Food is terrible, at least breakfast - Blinds with no blackout (be ready to wake up at 7AM) - A lot of problems with the elevators Summary, stay away of this hotel

Really good breakfast. The facilites were a bit older than expected, the elevator was dirty and did not Work all the time. Second day I had to beg for them to clean up the room and give me clean towels (8pm).
