This place isn’t a resort, yet it’s in a process of being rebuilt to an amazing historical treasure. The staff is friendly and wonderful. I totally support helping small businesses rebuild a protect beautiful places like this one.

Dirty property, limited staff hours, AC didn't work, sketchy area. Completely run down place. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have. Absolutely disgusting.
-
Gross! Save the money and sleep in your car.
-
My only concern was the complimentary breakfast. The waffle batter was runny and made gross-tasting waffles. And there weren’t many other options to choose from besides the waffles. The seating area was also very small—just one table and a loveseat/couch.

I guess I get what I pay for and if one pays to stay in a budget motel, one takes the risk of having a dilapidated motel/room, flat pillows, old mattress, and stained sheets. Not much more to say about this property.

The Bad. My room wasn't properly cleaned. The toilet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for a week, yellow dried on drops around the edges. The sheets were questionable. There was old food in the small refrigerator that I threw out. The wall has some weird holes, maybe leftover from an old ventilation system. The heater wouldn't heat. My room was right at the lobby and they had music playing until late, the door did nothing to stop me from hearing the conversations in the lobby. Some loud machinery was running outside. So this room definitely wasn't quiet. Breakfast was three cereal choices, apple or banana, and waffle maker. I chose none of them. I was in a hurry to get a room reserved for the night and didn't check any reviews. I usually don't complain about stuff. If I had read this from another person I would have chosen a different place to stay.

Refrigerator and microwave worked, as well as bathroom fan and a window that opened.

Great water pressure and appreciate the breakfast. Beds were uncomfortable, there was blood on the sheet we had on the bed and the air conditioning didn’t work.
-
The breakfast was bad Old run down property that needs to be updated in a bad of town. As soon as I parked a man walked up to the car and asked for money for cigarettes.

Friendly employees. We didn’t like seeing the outside through the AC unit

The Staff was so kind and helpful. Clean room, bed was comfortable, Can't think of of anything

Plenty of parking. Room smelt clean and appeared clean. Bathroom showed alot of wear and tear. The lobby/hallways had an odor if smoke(cigarette). Breakfast is fine if you are simple or by yourself, however if you have children it simply isnt enough to provide well rounded breakfast for the little ones.

Next group- wanted a smoking room and was told their room wasn’t ready and they’d have to wait 30 minutes. I didn’t even know hotels still had smoking rooms. Our turn to check in- went smoothly, got our keys and room number. Second floor. From looking in the lobby, it didn’t look like the second floor was in use. A construction cone on the stairs. Crumbling drywall, carpet rolling up, dirty carpet, dirty walls. But then the smell……: felt like you walked into years and years of smoking. Maybe fine if you’re a smoker but the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke. Like active smoking today. Went to our room. Dirty. Dead bugs. Dirty carpet, stained and wobbly chairs. We left. I’ve never done this at a hotel. Knew we were out our money and IT WASN’T WORTH IT TO STAY. We left and stayed at a different hotel. I feel terrible for anyone who stays here. Sad that this is listed on hotels.com It had decent reviews which swayed us. Don’t know how they got that to happen.

The parking lot isnt easy to get into; front door area is small and you have to step over parking stops. There is one large table in the lobby for eating breakfast, which I did not partake in. It jusr feels too crowded. Asked for 2 rooms with 1 bed each; due to a clerical issue I had to be given a different room. The 1st room's bathroom was not clean and there were gnats around the sink. 2nd morning my mom was in the shower and was "visited " by a large spider. She also noted that the insides of the dresser drawers were filthy. My room was okay. The bathroom sink area looked like it hadn't been cleaned but everything else was ok.

No top sheet just a blanket

The staff was helpful, lending me something to serve as a safety pin while I was there. Breakfast was very limited. I had no kids, human or caprine. For half the price of the hotel for the conference, it was fine and close enough that I could have walked between the two.

This is a very dated property. The staff were friendly enough, but the front desk is not staffed overnight. Breakfast was cold cereal, and a couple bagels and pieces of bread that looked as though they came out of a freezer- not appetizing at all. My room looked out over a back lot featuring abandoned buildings. There was a lot of noise during daylight hours- children crying, people talking loudly, etc. It was quiet at night. The room was clean but dated. The shower was comfortably warm. If staying for one night, this place is fine. If staying more nights, I'd recommend spending a little more to get a little more.
