The Peak Hotel

Fantastic location, friendly staff and lovely food, easy parking and easily accessible to what we wanted to see and do If anything I’d say a larger tub or at least a smart tv. But nothing major

location was excelllent. There was no breakfast option at this hotel, but numerous great cafes within a short walk Whilst the bathroom was nicely refurbished (although the shower plug was not draining properly) the room and accomodation side of the hotel was very tired

The location , the style of rooms Cleanliness - a used tissue under the bed wasnt ours , abit dusty throughout and the cost of the stay without a breakfast was quite expensive. We stayed for a special occasion (10 year wedding anniversay) and even though we did mention this there was nothing special or extra touch to make it feel that bit more special, which was dissapointing. Beautiful hotel location and all staff we interacted with were pleasant enough.

Location is second to none, we had car parking included in our stay too which was great. Very easy to find and a welcoming and homely pub with great food. Dog friendly pub and rooms with comfortable beds and good clean linen and towels. Elements of the room were tired looking but the bedding and towels were clean and fresh but do not come expecting the Ritz! The worst bit for me was not being able to have a morning brew. Whilst there were good facilities available and a little biscuit with hot chocolate too, the cups provided were absolutely filthy and stained but probably not even washed since some of the stains washed out when I tried cleaning them. A small thing but very disappointing and there was nobody around the next morning to ask for replacements.

Very good location nice large room very comfortable bed There was no breakfast included and the tea and coffee facilities were poor not enough milk pots and the sugar satches had gone hard! The bin in the room had not been emptied either!

Our own parking space was great. Being very picky, maybe velux windows in the roof with auto blinds would be better on a hot day and early morning light.

Excellent location, staff helpful and friendly Pub decor looking a bit tired, + double glazing required as room overlooked a busy road.

In middle of Castleton great location and good price. Nice friendly staff It is olde worldy for the want of a better description But it's still good value Don't expect a modern room
