Teatro Bellini - Bed & Breakfast

Close to the Teatro, so everything almost there in a short walking distance. Still, it is calm and silent, there is not that much noise from the street, perfect to relax. The host is very friendly, proactive and helpful. Loved the cat! :) Easy to miss when looking for this place as the name sign is relatively small.

This is our second time at B&B Teatro Bellini and we were again greeted by Valentina and her cat in cheerful fashion. The rooms are extremely clean and airy. The shower is great - just wait a minute for the hot water. We enjoyed the hallway and steps leading to the apartments, which have the classic European lights going on at night. This is a classic, vintage building in the heart of Catania. It is steps away from Teatro Bellini, the Duomo and there are great restaurants to the right of the hotel. Valentina is the best host we ever had, and she kindly booked our taxi to the airport for us - which was only $25. The common room with complimentary espresso and tea is lovely.

-Clean with good air conditioning -Close to the airport for an affordable early morning Uber ride to the airport -Close to the historic square with the elephant to do sightseeing -The property cat was a nice touch! -Useful info from staff about what to do and how to get to the airport -It was an odd layout. I had expected our own apartment, but it was more of a hostel room with 3 beds and a private bathroom and kitchenette-within an apartment -Water turned off late at night. We left early to the airport and couldn’t flush the toilet or use the sink

Everything was great. Cold toilet, although the water was hot. This is common throughout the city since there is no heating in the bathroom.

The landlord was one of the most friendly and open host I ever had :) accommodation was comfortable, the host was very helpful and the house was really nice - well-equipped, clean and spacious

Huge room, more like an appartment than a room. Price-quality is the best I've been at in my life, location is also unbeatable. Super friendly staff. The entrance could be a bit nicer and signalized, but for the price it's perfectly understandable and not a big deal

This facility did not have breakfast but was very near coffee shops and places with breakfast. It did provide coffee, tea and water. It was a very pleasant experience. The person who worked there often greeted us and made sure we had what we needed. It was near all the major sites of Catania. There are several good restaurants near the B&B. It does not have an elevator. Two flights of stairs are required to reach the B&B.
