Location Water leaked in ceiling all over table. . Noisy at night until 2 a.m. I had to request an iron 3 times before getting one. Phone did not work to call front desk.

Central location is hard to beat. And the staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. Whoever owns this hotel seems not to care about the disrepair. Stained chairs, mold on the ceiling, dirty curtains, broken floors, unstable and rusty bathroom appliances, scuffed walls … everywhere you look, you will notice a problem. And while we were there, the rooftop was closed, so no outdoor breakfast. We were told it was because of rain damage, but this just suggests not enough attention was given to protection (it’s a roof terrace … it’s going to get rained on and will need protection). The USB ports next the bed did not work either. You expect somewhat lower quality in Sicily, but this was excessive and made the price paid seem excessive. Recommend you look elsewhere until you read that the rooftop is open and the rooms have been repaired and refurbished.

The location was right in the heart of the city. The breakfast was very good and included Finding it isn’t easy and the parking was a 5 minute walk, but honestly helped us get acclimated

Giusi, who is a trained cook was excellent and offered my a private cooking class. It was absolutely wonderful. I was even able to chose a menu and the time. Oh and breakfast was lovely, too.

Good location Poor breakfast, many things not working or damaged in the rooms. Windows are not noise proof so didn’t slept until 2h30am and have been woke up at 5am by delivery for the shops down the street

Exceptional

Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was splendid. The food selection was wonderful, including both savory as well as sweet treats. View was inspiring for my very first day in Italy! I also loved the cinematic theme in the rooms. My room had some quotes stenciled on the walls from a film I had never heard of. I looked them up and discovered "The Day of the Owl", which I watched as soon as I got home, and loved. Everything was great.

The absolute best location in Catania just steps from the Cathedral and main square and better still, the working fish market! We could walk everywhere. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We used the private sauna, steam room and jacuzzi and loved it! We were also blown away not only by the incredible rooftop sitting area with a view of Mount Etna and the city but the balcony for breakfast in the morning. Our room was a bit small but we were not there too much and we were impressed that despite being near the big street market and restaurant area, it was very quiet! The staff helped us navigate not only driving RIGHT to it in the centre but dropping off our car at a locked lot nearby. Top marks! Room was a bit small and it could maybe use with a bit of room refresh but honestly we loved it! The perfect location to explore Catania.

The staff were fantastic, and the room was very comfortable only drawback is no elevator but managed anyway. Shower head could have been better
