Nice staff. I booked this hostel because it was outside the city center, expecting it to be in a quieter area. However, the location is in a neighborhood where I did not feel safe for a woman. Walking through the dark streets at night was quite uncomfortable. The mattress was so worn out that I could feel my hip almost touching the bed base, making it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. The bathrooms had a very unpleasant smell, apparently due to the old plumbing. There are also only two showers and two toilets for the guests. The sinks looked so worn that they seemed like they could come off the wall at any moment. Another issue was the automatic bathroom lighting. It turns off even during a quick shower, so you have to wave your arms to turn the lights back on. In my opinion, this hostel is not worth the price. In Catania, you can find accommodation at the same price—or even cheaper—with much better facilities and a far better location.

Cool area for guests to hang out, with ping pong and foosball and comfortable leather couches. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hummus they served for breakfast was really tasty and filling. I enjoyed the music they had playing. There is air conditioning. The lock on one of the bathroom doors wasn't working properly. The lock on my locker did work but the key didn't go in easily and I had to turn it just right to get it to lock. It can get a bit hot on the top bunks by the windows even with the a/c on.

Great, central location with short walking distances. Lot's of activity opportunities incl a ping pong table. Spacious, comfortable beds. The bathrooms have really cool design, but poor ventilation and the most spread out mold problem I've seen on my world travels. There's mold/living bacteria in all the bathrooms in three different colors. The mold smell is quite strong and this area is in dire need of renovation. Mold is a huge health problem, especially for anyone having allergies and or asthma.

The AC turns on pretty late so it is impossible to spend time in the room before 22.30

n/a - all good

Shower had a massive, nasty bug, and the entire bathroom smelled bad. Space generally did not feel clean after that. No curtains on my bed bc of a slanted roof. Charging ports were only lightning cable (no outlet). Breakfast was sad

The bathroom WC only 1 men and woman. WC pipi. Smell not nice. And it was too far. Down floor by big stairs. No privacy on the entrance and reception The clean yes but need to renovate. The area not very good. Breakfast funny. Coffee.. thanks I had with me nescafe and after out kafe. Fridge hm nooo. But it's ok . You can use it. Price is good. And duomo is not far.

The place has a very special vibe. It is very nice to be there. I had a great time meeting the owner of the place, a very interesting and nice guy. The lobby and the living room are beautifully decorated and cozy.

Location and the staff Older building, but well renovated
-
The bathrooms didn’t have hot water when I was take a shower.
-
The bathrooms are downstairs/ very separate from the bedrooms.

The staff are wonderful. The location is excellent. I would definitely like to visit them again. Greetings from Turkey…

The staff was really helpful The mattress wasn't that comfortable

The room was too small. I booked a 6-bed dorm but was placed in an 8-bed room. There was almost no space to move or even change clothes while standing. The room had no proper ventilation, felt dark, and a bit depressing. The kitchen is very small, always crowded, and located right next to the reception, which is not convenient. The luggage storage design is impractical — it should be horizontal, not vertical. Also, the bathroom is downstairs, so you need to go down the stairs every time. Breakfast was very basic and not healthy at all.

Atmosphere is good

The beds are big and not twin. Reading light and small table in bed and curtains. N/a

The bathrooms had a strange smell, but nothing serious to complain about!

The staff were very friendly and understanding, trying to help everyone, no matter their situation. I like the beds (most of them) had a curtain, it provided much needed privacy, which is usually scarce in hostels. The common area was particularly pretty and cozy, with vintage furniture and gave a really nice vibe. Don’t have complaints.
