Claudia was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and attentive. The apartment is a true gem, filled with artistic touches and beautiful details in every corner. It’s very easy to find and located in a lovely neighborhood, just steps away from the breathtaking Villa Bellini park. The space was clean, well-maintained, and full of soul. Each room has its own personality, thoughtfully designed with a unique artistic vision. It truly felt like stepping into a whimsical wonderland in the heart of Catania. The entire experience was surreal in the best possible way—creative, stylish, and incredibly heartwarming. There was honestly nothing I didn’t like. Everything exceeded expectations.

I liked the room. It was very big and beautiful. Authentic design. The bathroom was super clean and in very good condition. The host is a super nice person. The only problem I had was the noise at night from the street. I I knew, I would have prepared myself with some earplugs. The noise from the street. I am super sensitive to the noise and it was almost impossible to have a good rest.

Good

Claudia and Alex are extremely friendly hosts, super sweet and very helpful. They are always there if you need anything. They have two adorable kids and a cute cat who loves to get into your room (it you let her) and talks to you for 10 minutes. The place is in a very nice and central area with loads of good restaurants and bars basically just around the corner. Oh, and it’s beautifully furnished and decorated. Before you book please consider you are staying in a bed-and-breakfast. Remember that you live with a family in an apartment. Remember what you pay for this because it’s a bargain for what you get. If this is not your thing book a hotel. If you want something different and understand what a B&B is go for this one.

We would like to thank Claudia and her family for their hospitality. At there place you feel at home. And how beautifully furnished apartment, it’s incredible. All the rooms equipped with AC, TV. Also it should be mentioned that the location of the apartment is in the very heart of Catania. We spent 3 days and stayed very satisfied with the Catania. Thank you so much

i loved the room and artwork and how authentic it felt..the bed was comfy and i slept very well even with the traffic noise which is ok for a few nights with earplugs..since the bathroom was in between the room and hallway the noise level from other people in the apartment was also not an issue..breakfast could have been a little healthier but the coffee was really good..there were some issues with the plumbing(but I was able to use the hosts shower so it was no big deal) but later Claudia seemed to insinuate the issues were my fault which I'd didn't find very nice and I've definitely had warmer welcomes from hosts than here but all in all the location and room made up for it.

Great location, Claudia is very nice host and apartment is nice and large. Very good value and makes a great base to explore east Sicily coast

breakfast - reasonable options left out by the host nice decor including the room and the rest of the flat use of family kitchen felt comfortable quite noisy re traffic outside but fine with ear plugs

I loved the tips of the owner, the house itself is very amazing and beautifully decorated. The mattress was very comfy and had many extra blankets. My only problem was the noise of the road. Even very loud at night. But for two nights it was okay.

The location is strategic and close to the garden and walking street which connect to the city center. The bus station for Alibus to airport is within 5 mins walk. The host - Claudia is a paint artist and she well decorated the house and rooms herself. She was extremely helpful to allow me for early check in and even late check out at night before leaving for midnight flight. She is someone friendly and caring about my stay. She also provided some great tips about sightseeing places and best cafe for the local desserts - Cannoli.

Maison Deco is so close to the city center, and has great bus connections to the airport and other cities around, making it the perfect place to stay. Claudia has a lovely, warm and welcoming home. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Catania. n/a

Claudia's house is amazing, I really liked the concept that she gave to the apartment. The room was big and cleaned, with AC. The location is very central, no needs of buses. The room is facing on a noisy street, but the ear plug helped

I don't like reviews that are entirely positive. But here I can not do otherwise - everything was fine and if perhaps some little thing was not, the landlady immediately corrected it. It's not an accommodation for those who want to have everything up-to-date, but who want to experience a homely atmosphere.
