Location was excelent, walking distance into cenral Catania and all sites we wanted to visit. Also easy access to great bars and restaurants. Breakfast could have been better.

The parking is nice and spacious, very appreciable in such a city location. The staff at check-in was nice. The location itself is good. Some equipments were malfunctioning (shower available only with the handshower, the shower door was not closing properly). The bathroom was dark and not so welcoming. The breakfast is sweet centered, but the breakfast room is nice with some interesting view.

the receptionist was very sweet and as helpful as she could be. Buffet breakfast minimal but sufficient. In spite of having time of arrival agreed we weren't allowed into our room until 3pm. Not good when you've been up travelling since 5am. WiFi in room hopeless most of the time. You had to go down (2 floors in a different building) to the lobby. Room cold as no heating in hotel. Awful bedding, no duvet, just a horsehair blanket and some sort of old rep curtain bedspread. Access to room very peculiar, had to exit building at the back, cross a back alley then access 2nd floor in another building. Noisy concrete corridor, trolleys banging from 6 am as room very close to breakfast room.

The location is perfect. On the Main Street in Catania and 10-20 mins walk to most of the “must see” sites of the city. Also, one of the pick up locations for the day trips that we booked was directly across the road from the hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and courteous and assisted with any inquiries that we had. The breakfast was more than adequate to give us a good start to the day, with coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereal, yogurt, whole fruit, savory and sweet pastries, sliced ham and cheese, hard boiled eggs, and bread and spreads. Depending on the room you are given, noise from the street may be an issue.
