Couette et Tartine

This apartment was a place you could live in. Comfortable, spacious, well supplied. The location was very nice as well - just a short walk to the town center and shops, restaurants etc. I will keep thinking about that! I can't think of anything. I will return to this property if I come to town again.

not a lot that was good. Unmanned, cold room, not a nice part of town, parking away from property, ridiculously overpriced for what was offered. Mould on ceiling of the tiny bathroom, paint literally slapped on with no care, no tea or coffee in room although kettle was present, no hair dryer in room.

10 minutes from train station. It was run down. Mattress very cheap and hard. Needs updating. Little holes in walls, screw sticking out.

Perfect B&B for a stopover, nice breakfast, clear communication with the host and spacious apartment!

The balance quality/price is very good

Easy acces to a room at the back of the building Located on the wrong side of town, dodgy street. The interior is done up using the cheapest materials.

Easy independent check-in. The do-it-yourself breakfast is great, and the kitchenette in the studio is fine.

Interesting property but old and very little dining space. Small thin towels. No staff at breakfast time. Had to hunt down crockery and cutlery etc. No heating. No reply when asked where milk was.

We only stayed one night in Chalon. The apartment was clean comfortable and exceptionally kitted out for breakfast. Water in abundance was provided. Easy checkin Not that it was a problem for us. The stairs upto the bedroom are very steep. The toilet room also located upstairs was rather small for my 6ft tall and broad husband. For a short stay though, it was a great location and comfortable stay overall. Breakfast was extremely good and overall great value for money.

Facilities very good. Shutters excellent. Bed too short. Toilet way to small, had to open the door for proper use!

Extremely friendly and responsive host, nice well equipped kitchen and lovely backyard, quiet place and neighbourhood(although at first sight the neighbourhood felt a bit dodgy and run down). Self-service breakfast was nicely arranged. The bathroom was not at its best anymore and a bit run down. Even though it was cleaned it felt a bit filthy when you had a closer look. Smell of the room was a bit too perfumed. We had problems to unlock the room door, it needed several attempts.

We stayed in the duplex apartment and it was very comfortable with a kitchenette if you wanted to cook for yourself. Breakfast was very substantial with a lot of choice. Location excellent. Wished we were staying longer.

Location, friendly owner Vary hard bed

It was charming, everything we needed for an overnight stay on the way to the south of France. We were astounded by the provisions for drinks and breakfast. Amazing! We never actually met the hosts. Luckily some other guests were returning to their room and showed us around!
