Lovely hotel, great reception staff, you feel instantly welcomed and at ease. Rooms are a good size. We had 3 children in one of the rooms and they didn't feel squeezed in. Pool area is nicely maintained. The restaurants could do with improvements. We used a la carte service. We had a slow service at lunch, had to ask for things like napkins and we did not enjoy parts of our evening meal. The reception staff were really good to rectify when we mentioned at check out.

I was very impressed by the staff who changed our room on our request. Just one concern: some rooms (around six, perhaps) on the second floor were cut off from the main floor. The fire exit on this part was not clearly marked. This made me uncomfortable, and thus I requested that I be given a room on the main floor that can be accessed by the capsule lift. My request was accommodated. The hotel should look into this aspect.

Staff behaviour and trying to help you in everything. Rooms are old and they have only bath tubs. Going into the bath tubs is difficult and not at all suited for elderly people.

Everything one should expect from a hotel with Taj’s reputation – from our welcome drink to check out, we were well looked-after. The room, the pool, breakfast and the bar were all lovely. Everything was wonderful
