Outstanding hotel, a beautiful house with truly stunning period rooms. We loved our stay and wished it could last longer. Also a great location, plus parking available on site.

I loved staying in an historic house. It was well located, a short walk to the historic downtown. My ground floor room was large and comfortable, probably originally a parlor. Quaint: with an old fashioned bed that was high and reached by steips. There was a back parlor that always had hot and cold water, tea or coffee and fruit and snacks. Beakfast was served in an enclosed porch. The breakfast was generous for a bed and breakfast, with hot portions fixed on the spot, though I was told that may become buffet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Instructions for getting into the property after staff hours could have been clearer. Otherwise, no complaints.

Location and friendly staff Dirty rug in hall, floor tiles missing in bath. Huge pond in parking lot that we had to go around to get to main house

Staff was very friendly and the location was great! It is very close to shopping and restaurants. We were in the carriage house, very clean, comfortable and spacious. This hotel is very quaint with an old Charleston vibe which is what we wanted. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding, made to order. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to it! Nothing!! Great stay!!

All good with food and service staircase could have been cleaner, saw a bug in the room and also a few weird hanging bugs from the bathroom ceiling.

The staff are very personable as well as helpful. These folks really do make you feel welcome and not as if you’re staying at someone else’s home. The ice on the first night was one thing that I could complain about. Not knowing that there wouldn’t be any eyes I wasn’t able to grab any while the staff was there so that I could save it for the evening.

Pleasant stay. Would recommend to anyone.

We were more than happy with $16 per day parking as the lot next door is way more and although the room was a little dated and lighting a bit dark, we knew that when booking from the photos and think the rest of the place more than makes up for it!

The room was big, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was very good. The buffet breakfast was great and I especially liked the pretty table setting and dishes. It was nice to have cold water, ice and snacks available, as well as coffee and tea! The patio area with the little fountain was nice, and the sitting area. These extra little touches are appreciated. The TV was tiny, we like a little late night TV. The tub /shower is quite a high step to get into, thank goodness for the grab bar, a 2nd one might be nice.

I enjoyed staying at this bed and breakfast more so than a traditional hotel. The staff were wonderful and I enjoyed the daily breakfast with staff taking orders from the menu provided. I look forward to staying there again in the future.
