We had a wonderful stay. The amenities are great, from free bike rentals, delicious breakfast, wine and cheese and milk and cookies. We will definitely stay here again and a shout out to Bob, who managed the bar during the wine and cheese and late night snacks. He was great to chat with and was very helpful with his suggestions. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were also very knowledgeable of the area. There was always a smile on everyone's face. The breakfast, the wine and cheese and the cookies and milk were the greatest. As a guest, you felt special almost like royalty. It was one of the best stays I've experienced.

Breakfast was outstanding and the Room was beyond excellent

I especially loved all the little details, like the pillow menu, the personalized welcome note in our room, and the additional note and chocolate-covered strawberries they left to help us celebrate our 10-year anniversary. That was such a thoughtful touch and honestly made us feel so special. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond throughout our stay. You can really tell how much attention they put into the guest experience. The location was also perfect. It was centrally located and made it really easy for us to get everywhere we wanted to go. I seriously can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I’m just so happy we found it, and it will definitely be at the top of our list whenever we come back to Charleston!

I booked this hotel for my husband and daughter who were driving her car to her college in Florida and one of their overnight stops was in Charleston. Upon arriving, they called me, so excited about the hotel that I had booked them in! They loved all of the little extras and how beautiful everything was and how nice everybody was! Even though it was a trip to the college for them it was like a serious vacation! I proceeded to receive more calls throughout the evening and then in the morning where they went on and on about all the little amenities! They both agreed that this was the best hotel they have ever been in ever anywhere. And we’ve been to Hawaii five times.

Exceptional

Friendliness and responsiveness of staff. Homey, yet elegant decor. Location: near Market St, Broad, The Battery, White Point Park, historic churches and homes, restaurants, shops, etc. Also, clean everywhere, including hallways, comfy beds, very nice bathrooms One minor annoyance: no towel bar or hooks, or hand bars anywhere near the shower/tub; only on back of entry door. I used my open umbrella on the floor to place the towel, etc
