The Spectator Hotel

We had an incredible stay at The Spectator and would highly recommend.

La atención desde que llegas hasta que te vas es otro nivel. El esmero de la atención excede la calidad de servicio, un servicio incomparable que te hacen sentir en un palacio, la amabilidad del conserje es única. El check in es rapido y muy servicial, el servicio de valet parking perfecto, la habitación muy limpia y silenciosa. Cuando vuelva a la ciudad no dudaré en volver. A este hermoso hotel.

Breakfast in the room was great!

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. It was a perfect location for exploring and dining. The complimentary breakfast was excellent.

Very nice small boutique hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. Room a little on the tight size, bath just the opposite. Well stocked free (!) in room bar/fridge, quite nice. Ditto free cooked or continental breakfast served in room, or in lounge. Very nice! No restaurant, but located within the French Quarter where there are restaurants within a few steps in every direction.

Everything was great

Room, staff, check-in, bar, in room breakfast service, all were excellent. Whenever we’re in Charleston we will always stay at the Spectator!

Highly recommend! The location was perfect. Walk to the harbor or to king street in less than 10 min. The hotel staff went above and beyond. I don’t touch a bag the entire time I was there. A welcome cocktail, the butlers, included breakfast delivered to your room everyday. I mean what an absolute treat! I will be staying here again.

Superb

The suite was large, very clean, and very well appointed. The service was exceptional and the staff was polite, professional and very helpful. The hotel was very conveniently situated to shopping and historic sites. The bar was exceptional. Great drinks, great small plates and very private and comfortable. Best hotel stay in years. Highly recommended.

Exceptional

My wife and I stayed for three days last week and were not disappointed; most luxurious room in the area, and it was their “basic” king. Huge, clean and equally nice bathroom tiled from floor to ceiling. Nice and big lighted makeup mirror attached to the wall. Free minibar snacks (gummy bears, bean cookies and bridge mix…butlers kept ‘em coming and they couldn’t have been nicer) and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, compliments the room. Finally, free breakfast (eggs and bacon) or smoked salmon and a bagel or granola. Oh, the location is spot-on, too.
