I loved the design of the hotel, the bar was amazing. Amazing location as well. And the rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location! You must get an espresso martini from their bar. Looking forward to our next stay!

I loved the clean bath room . The room was pretty .

Overall, our stay at The Palmetto was okay. I do not think it is worth the price point due to the lack of amenities and cleaning service. Each day after returning to the room, we would find it semi cleaned. Old cups still in place, bed halfway made with pillows on the floor, and furniture not readjusted to its original position. It became a joke between my boyfriend and I to see what would be wrong each day. When speaking to the staff about our complaints they were helpful but the issue would not resolve each day. It is a beautiful hotel in a great location but it lacks heavily in the service department. I recommend The Palmetto if your only requirement for your stay is pretty wallpaper and an overpriced hotel bar.

There was no tv at the bar- wanted to hang- but not able to watch nightly sports. Ran out of passes for gym- so had to pay? Don't understand that, seems like you guys should have paid. Remote for tv did not have a guide button that works, so could never see what was on. Had a great time in Charleston- but when winding down at night- we were disappointed.

Location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel itself is very pretty, and the included continental breakfast is very good. Rooms are small, but that's typical for a boutique hotel. Parking is valet only and pretty expensive, but the valet folks are nice. The worst part of the hotel is the staff. Not warm. Not welcoming. Any questions to them felt like I was bothering them. The person handling the kitchen and breakfast wasn't warm either. I mean, the hotel is pricey... Crack a smile, maybe?

We found the Palmetto upon our arrival and right off the bat, loved the amazing location right in the middle of everything… the waterfront, Historic District and French Quarter. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, and so well maintained! We would absolutely recommend and stay there again!
-
Perfect location Staff was emotionless. Valet guys/girls were the nicest. Bathroom looked like a public shower at the beach (rusty). TV was from 2010… no Netflix etc. for that money I would’ve expected something different.

Everyone and everything was excellent

Location is very good too. We like the hotel aside from two specific issues : we arrived early and checked bags at the front. They called when our room was ready, and I asked they bring our bags to our room. The front desk lady explained that I have to bring the bags up, which was a bit off. Second issue was that the gym they offer is 1.5 miles away. Not terribly practical to go there for a workout and come back to the room. Room was nice itself. Just frustrated w these two things.

The location is perfect, close to everything. The beds were very soft so it took some time to adjust. The room was clean but small. The overall stay was very nice.

We loved this hotel! The location is great for walking to restaurants and bars and King Street as well. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean with everything you need to be comfortable during your stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Palmetto! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. The location is perfect — convenient to everything we wanted to see and do — and the hotel itself exceeded our expectations. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and truly top-notch. What really stood out, though, was the level of service. Every interaction with the staff was positive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the experience they provide. We would absolutely stay at The Palmetto again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston. A fantastic hotel, perfect location, and an exceptional team!

Superb

Great location/delicious expresso/choc martinis. Wish they would supply water bottles free of charge… thought $6 was a bit much for a bottle of water.
-
I would recommend this hotel and stay there again. Wonderful location! I can’t think of a better location. Tons of places to eat and drink as soon as you walk out the front door.

We loved our stay at the Palmetto Charleston. We travelled from Belfast, Northern Ireland for our wedding anniversary trip and were greeted to a complimentary bottle of wine from the hotel; a fantastic start to our stay. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had every amenity we could need. We loved the stylish cocktail bar in the reception and the seating area made for a great place to have a coffee in the morning. The location was fantastic; within a few minutes walk from all of the main sights in Charleston and with plenty of nearby restaurants and bars. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming here and would love to stay again. Nothing

Staff was so incredibly kind, helpful, and hospitable! There was a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The room was impeccably, clean and had nice amenities. I just wish the Wifi connection was stronger and or better as I was having some trouble getting some work done
