Air Conditioner stopped working in our original room around 10pm but they moved us to another great room and we had a wonderful stay. Staff were all very nice!

The staff and services provided at the Vendue were above and beyond!

I would stay here again!

One disappointment was the breakfast pastries included in our package. They lacked flavor, and we did not eat them on any of the days we stayed. The biggest surprise, however, was the daily amenities fee. This charge was not disclosed when we made the reservation, nor was it mentioned during check-in or check-out. In fact, we only became aware of the fee after receiving our final room bill via email. Had this charge been clearly communicated upfront, or during the checkout process when reviewing the bill on the computer with the front desk, it would have avoided an unpleasant surprise at the end of an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Worth the price. Champagne with the room which had its own fireplace. Nicest thing was we didn’t make it to the continental breakfast but someone still put a little box together of food and left it by our door. Crazy thoughtful. Great location too.

We stayed 6 days at the Vendue and staff were absolutely wonderful. Their art gallery and onsite curator was very knowledgeable about artist she drew to Vendue. The rooftop bar offers great views of the city. If you're staying in Charleston, choose Vendue . . . Harbor, Restaurants, Bars, Theatres, Orchestra all just a short walk away. Thank you for a great stay.

You have to understand Charleston is expensive. Venue is aBeautiful unique hotel... stayed across the street from the main hotel in an underground room with no windows. Five nights $2100 European size which means very very small but it was decorated to the nines. People were very nice. The Griffin bar next-door is fabulous... the main hotel has a funky bar on the roof that really doesn't fit the hotel but it's cool.,, every morning you get a little bag hung on your door with two muffins a banana and an apple. Every day exactly the same they should change it a little. Other than that there were so many great hotels in Charleston and this is one of them.

Excellent location and very reasonably priced

You enter into an art gallery with lots of paintings, sculptures and more to look at and engage with. A very nice fine dining restaurant and a great rooftop bar/cafe. Excellent service and can walk to almost anywhere you'd want to go.

From reception to checkout our stay was most enjoyable. All staff were very friendly and helpful. A shout out to the valet’s who were on the spot with retrieving our car. Roof top bar/restaurant was a great place to relax at the end of the evening. Hotel is a half a block from the waterfront and here were so many restaurants and sight seeing spots within walking distance. Highly recommended.

We did not start with the right foot. The rooms were very large but unfortunately we got them on the side of Bay St. and it was pretty noisy outside. The location is great. Very comfortable bed and very strong shower.

An exquisite boutique hotel in the French Quarter of Charleston. We enjoyed the daily staff attention to the little details that make a stay special that included fresh baked goodies and champagne as well as some brandy from time to time in the lobby. The art walk was a great experience as well as the roof top bar. Everyone on staff was there to help.

We were very pleased with our room and the staff. If we had any questions or a problem, they promptly help us. We loved the decor and atmosphere in the hotel.
-
Location and art work Lack of facilities - no mini bar, no seating dependant on hotel on opposite side of road -no room service - not normal for a four star

Venue staff were all super friendly from check in to check out. Greeted us warmly each morning and evening. Liked the breakfast treats and cookies and milk at night. Very helpful and attentive group Mattress could have been more supportive, seemed quite mushy
