Love this place. So convenient to shopping, rainbow row, restaurants and right across from the harbor. Staff was amazing and the daily happy hours and being able to enjoy sitting on the terrace were other special highlights.

Great location. Clean, comfortable and little extras that let my family have fun and relax.

Staff-friendly & accommodating

Perfectly situated just off King Street, close to historic Rainbow Row, on a corner by a dynamic fountain and a pier, close to restaurants, bars, galleries and shops, it was a quiet, calm and cool retreat from the bustle and heat of Charleston. Our room was spacious and well appointed, the staff; friendly and very helpful. Breakfast on the roof terrace- great views- or where you choose to take it, was pre-ordered and delicious. We loved the little touches the hotel provided: on tap tea & coffee, water stations with various natural flavours ie lemon, mint etc, a late afternoon glass of wine, cheese and nibbles laid out in reception and fresh baked cookies later on in the evening.Most appreciated. Valet parking, which was reasonable in the context of other downtown alternatives, allowed us to dump the car for a couple of days and explore this highly interesting city on foot. A very enjoyable stay which I would happily repeat at the Harbour View Inn.

We absolutely loved our stay at HarbourView Inn in Charleston! ❤️ From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful little touches in the hallway—water, lemonade, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, and delicious cookies. Such a lovely detail! The kids had so much fun playing chess, and they absolutely loved splashing in the fountain right next to the hotel! ♟️💦 Our room was beautiful—so clean and tastefully designed. We loved the style and attention to detail. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was truly top-notch! 🥐☕️ A wonderful hotel in a perfect location, with so many little touches that made our family stay extra special. We would absolutely stay here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything about this property was amazing. Our room was very clean and spacious. We loved being able to eat breakfast in our room. The lecture and walking tour of the area was certainly a plus. We absolutely loved the wine and cheese offered each afternoon. The location is perfect. We’d like to go back to Charleston if for no other reason just to stay at this wonderful place again.

Great place awesome location

I couldn’t have had a better experience, the staff were so helpful and friendly. The hotel was extremely clean. We had breakfast delivered to our room every morning. And I loved the location being right on the harbor. Definitely a 10/10!

Great breakfast good location

Great location in the heart of downtown Charleston. You can walk the battery and walk to many great restaurants and bars. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the complimentary happy hour. Great selection of cheeses and other snacks. Also good wine and a special cocktail were served. We also liked the breakfast which was delivered to our room at the time we specified! Great choice!!

This property was a diamond in the rough from the helpful and professional staff to the generous amenities. They gave us a free daily breakfast, wine and cheese hour and milk and cookies at night. They did so much for us and answered all our questions. I absolutely loved this property and I will be returning and telling all my friends who come to Charleston about it!

I am glad that I chose Harbour View. It was ann excellent location. Breakfast was included for all guests. At 5 o’clock they had cheese and crackers and at 9 PM they had milk and cookies. We usually missed the cheese and crackers, but that’s OK. They also had special story-time, bottled water, coffee, tea, and lemonade available always! The valet team was amazing as well.This will be one that I come back to. It was a great location as well - right there at Waterfront Park and nice dining in walkable distance. You can’t go wrong here.

Excellent location to attractions, shops, restaurants, and beautiful views of Charleston Harbor and shaded parks to walk-through. Well appointed rooms. Bathrooms have plenty of vanity space. Rooms were lovely with lots of room to spread out and chairs to sit on to enjoy the beautiful views. Employees were cheerful & happy to please hotel guests. Been to Charleston numerous times & highly recommend this hotel. No noisy street traffic & guiet rooms.

Very close to a popular tourist spot so very busy but also very charming and quaint. recommend for couples wanting to just relax
