Staff was friendly. Toilet in one of hotel room bathrooms didn’t work. When we went, the entire system was down. One of my rooms they gave me was occupied. I had called a few days before to get room right next to each other and was told that they could. But rooms were on other side of hall.

Close to main highways, close to grocery store. Very, very quiet at night. Nice breakfast. Staff is very attentive and helpful. Absolutely no complaints.

Very nice, clean hotel in a quiet location. Breakfast was great and staff were very helpful. There were lots of great restaurants nearby and some shopping. Would definitely stay there again if traveling in that direction.

Location was good. Easy in and easy out. Room was NOT clean. sofa bed had candy bar wrappers there when cushions were removed and after folding out bed there were chocolate crumbs all over the mattress. Clearly no one cleaned. breakfast with hashbrown paddies and sausage patties were over cooked, dry and chewy

This property double-charged me after I already paid for the booking in full. Booking.com's link to upload documents and contest charges doesn't work. Don't let the staff here touch your credit card. Updated: I received a refund from the property today (July 25). Still don't understand how this happened, but I appreciate that the hotel made this right once it was brought to their attention. Rating revised from 1.0 to 5.0.

Just ok. Upon arrival we discovered fingernail clippings on the bathroom sink, dust & hair inside the dresser, mold in the bathroom, couch was falling apart, had a strange odor. House keeping didn’t come at all during our stay, even after I requested a clean. The maintenance man knocked on the door and then automatically entered while we were inside the room- which is a safety concern especially when traveling solo with two kid, the dishes in the cabinet had food stuck on them, a pregnancy test was left on top of the of the bathroom towel shelf which fell off when grabbing a towel (gross) The pool was closed for the first two days (during a major heat wave) which was pretty inconvenient- after they finally opened it the chemical smell was so bad we couldn’t even swim. The pool was extremely cloudy & dirty same with the hot tub. Looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. There was no pool towels. I stayed here 2 and half years ago and didn’t have any issues- seems like this hotel really went down hill since. it was convenient having a kitchen but it didn’t have any soap, sponge, or dishwasher liquid, trash bags, etc. overall for the price I paid I could have stayed at the Omni, I would never stay here again. 2/10

I really like the size of the bedroom, and the kitchenette was wonderfully accommodating. I’m grateful to the staff for their hospitality. I believe the bathrooms would benefit from brighter, more focused lighting to make shaving easier for men and makeup application easier for women.

My wife and I graduated UVA in 2022 and 2023 so we come back frequently to Charlottesville to visit. With that being said, we have stayed at our fair share of hotels in Charlottesville and the Homewood Suite by Hilton is by far our favorite and the best we’ve experienced! The King Suite is enormous and the black out shades were excellent. Definitely will be returning - highly recommend! N/A
